Metro Glass did a great job on my replacing my windshield. They were professional, friendly, worked with my insurance and made it a painless process. High quality workmanship. While other places may be cheaper, Metro Glass uses original equipment manufactured for your vehicle not aftermarket products. Using OEM equipment is required to keep my car covered under its warranty.  
I recommend them and would use them again without question.
**The approx Cost of Service is my deductible cost. I only have my receipt and don't recall what the estimate for the work was. I just know it was much more than my deductible.

Called to find out price and availability - quoted $39.95 based on my description and about 1/2 hour, which is exactly what it turned out to be.  I went over within a couple of hours, office person remembered me from phone call, got my car in the shop, done within 1/2 hour.  Served fresh hot coffee in nice waiting area.  Very good morale between employee and boss - they both seemed to genuinely love what they do.  Is price a little high for the work?  I don't know, but it was within my range, the work was good, the people were good, so I'd go back.  One note - it's a little hard to figure out how to get to the shop - try L St to 90th, go north on 90th, turn right on J St, then right on 88th, and it's on the right.

It went flawless. I received a quote over the phone and was able to take my template in and have the mirror cut according to the template. I thought the price was reasonable for a 30"h x 20"w x 1/8" thick mirror.  They offer mirrors in 1/8" and 1/4" thickness. I would go back there again to have a mirror cut.

The day rang to enquire about a windshield repair, I spoke to a very nice man. He explained everything clearly and mentioned it would take 2 to 3 hours to repair. So I booked it for the following day. I was going to wait, so I came prepared. The waiting area was very nice. Especially for place that deals with autos. There was coffee and a variety of magazines. The people were very friendly and made the wait time go fast. It took 2 1/2 hours and my car was ready. Job was great. No mess left in my car. So far the windshield is great! Would definitely recommend this company.

Rich at Metro Glass was friendly and professional.  He took time to explain the windshield replacement process and explained the differences between a job done right and a job done cheaply.  Metro Glass might charge slightly more, but that's because they use factory glass, spend the proper amount of time on each vehicle, and do the work in a way that doesn't cause bubbling or rust down the road.  The work is backed by a lifetime guarantee.  My Groupon deal was honored without any questions.  The waiting area is spacious, with free refreshments and a friendly staff.  I will return to Metro Glass for my auto glass repair and replacement needs in the future.

I'm always a little hesitant to put in a review until I have time to see how the product or service holds up but I will comment on the professionalism shown to me by the staff. Frankie the office manager gave me a quote on the phone and was the person that greeted me when I came into the shop. She was both pleasant to talk to and deal with. It's not very often you walk into a place of business and feel like they truely appreciate your business and want you to be happy with your purchase. While I had a lower quote by about 90 dollars from a competitor I did my due diligence and the reviews both on Angie's List and other internet sources pointed me in the direction of Metro Glass. When they took the windshield out I was brought out into the shop to see some rust that had formed around the edge of the windshield and given the explanation for how they were going to fix it. That was something that they did not have to do but added to the positive experience I had with Metro Glass. I feel good about my purchase and feel confident that they will stand behind their work.

I waited for service, it was done quickly. Good explanation of what not to do after - ie; car wash - on phone when making appointment and after replacement. Friendly staff. The office/waiting area could use a spruce up, tired looking. Overall great experience.

They were good. I would recommend them to others, and they were very quick. We needed to get it done quickly, and they did just that. They were professional, neat, cleaned up, and washed the windows. They did not damage the floor.

The service went very well.  They ordered the part from the dealer.  It took less than an hour to replace the molding.  Fallon, the office administrator was very polite, professional and courteous.

First, it cost a little more because it was a Mercedes- and Metro uses original equipment so the materials cost was relatively high.  So don't look at my cost and think that's typical.  However, while price is important, Angie's list should also have "Value" rated.  It would be an "A". 
Everything went better than expected.  I talked to Victoria and after her clear explanation of how the process works, I didn't even bother trying anyone else.  So my expectations were high- and then Metro still exceeded them by the small touches such as leaving a card in my car (I picked up late one evening, after hours) and offering to fix any small chips for a period of time because I log a lot of highway miles (and I had expressed concern that I'll probalby be back soon).  Victoria seemed willing to do whatever was necessary to ensure my customer experience was great.  Ah, it reminded me of a time when businesses taught their employees how to provide good customer service. 
Don't know what else to tell you- stop looking around, spend a few more dollars now, get quality, get the best customer service you've had in the past 20 years, and, in the long run, you'll save!

I found Metro here on Angie's list and i am glad i did.  I had 2 rock chips in my window, they repaired both for only $40, but not only did they repair the chips, I mentioned that i was unable to get my tag affixed to my front bumper and that the handle on the gate to my truck broken.  They took a look and said a new hole would need to be drilled in order to get the tag on.  They drilled the hole and put my tag on for NO extra charge.  They also took a look at the gate handle and said they could fix that too.  They ordered the part, took off the gate and said i cold come back in the morning.  I came back the next day, they put the gate on and Rich ( the owner, more on him in a minute) mentioned that he noticed that one of the cables on the lift gate was broken, so he ordered a replacement and fixed that too.  Parts for the gate handle, the gate cable and labor, came to less than i expected to pay to have the window chips repaired.  I also said that i really wanted to replace my windshield, but the $400 i had been quoted by other places was a bit pricey for me.  He then quoted me a price that was about 66% lower than any other price I'd been quoted AND he only uses windshields from your car's maker.  When i told him i wanted to go ahead and replace it, he suggested that i wait until spring when the salt and sand trucks have finished working for the season - WHO DOES THAT?  Sends a customer away, hoping that they would come back for the service.  Metro Glass does, because he knows his service is top notch and his prices are reasonable, so he can be confident that you will return.  

Now Rich, the owner was awesome and a pleasure to talk to and do business with, he is friendly and kind and makes sure you are comfortable while you wait.  And i love his waiting room reading material, all kinds of awesome trivia books, i wanted to stay longer just to finish the book i was reading. His staff is just as friendly and kind and proud of their work as he is, you can tell he must be an awesome person to work for, because he staff has the same happy caring attitude as he does.  I was so happy with the work they did, i HAD to tip them and i had to FORCE them to take the tip, even more reason to love this place.

Rich took time to show me what happens when windows are not installed properly with the right glue and preparation, he has tons of pictures, ask him to show them to you.  I had no idea how much rust can be sitting under your windshield where you cannot even see it, in fact i never knew rust grew there, i always assumed that the seal was water tight.  Since i bought my truck used, i was not surprised to find out that the windshield had been replaced before, and now i want my glass changed just in case there is rust growing under there.  I may not wait until April to have him replace the glass.

I will never go anywhere else and i have already referred a couple of friends there already.

I called up Metro Glass and they were able to look at my vehicle right away. They put a temporary sheet of plastic over my shattered sunroof window in case it rained (and also to prevent the glass from flying outward). Rich, the owner, was able to locate a used (but in GREAT condition!) sunroof window at a local salvage yard. It was delivered to them the next day. I drove back and they installed it in less than half an hour! Awesome customer service and a fantastic price!

I called Metro Glass to schedule an appointment to replace the windshield on my Toyota Rav 4. Johanna answered the phone and was very professional, gave me a quote and answered a few questions I had. She was patient and more than happy to answer my questions, not in a hurry to get me off the phone but seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was informed about the process. We dropped the vehicle off at the shop and Jackie at the front desk took the keys, she was very cordial and professional as well. When we picked the vehicle up a very nice gentleman explained the things to be careful about for the first couple days after the install. I was impressed that everyone we spoke with seemed to take a genuine interest in making sure the job was done right and they were professional from beginning to end. The new windshield looks great. You won't find better service than Metro Glass provides in this day and age. Will definitely go back for any future windshield replacements I have.

Excellent experience. While I waited for the repair to be completed, they offered coffee, water, a paper to read and friendly conversation. The repair is barely noticeable and I don't think I could have asked for a better experience.

Let me tell you about my experience with Metro Glass. The two owners, Rich and Johanna, answer their phone promptly, personally, and politely. I was promptly quoted a price over the phone. They will tell you up front Metro Glass is not the least expensive, but they more than compensate for this in materials, workmanship, and service. They offered to drive me back to my office, but the glass arrived within an hour from their warehouse. It was a Ford windshield, just as the factory would have installed, not an OEM product. Because I didn't choose Safelight to install the windshield, Rich spoke to the insurance company on my behalf. No problems with that. Metro Glass is a preferred provider. While they were installing the windshield, they asked about the driver's side window switch. I'd completely forgotten about the switch being broken. Rich got on the phone, ordered a new one from the Ford dealership and installed that too in a matter of minutes! They saved me the time in setting an appointment with the dealership and the hassle of waiting for an additional installation. That's service! If you need a new windshield, or just a rock chip repair, I highly recommend Metro Glass.
