Marv's has my highest recommendation. They were careful, thorough, and saved my vegetable garden, which is what the two huge trees fell on. They were also able to schedule me weeks earlier than other bidders.

I was so pleased with Andrew, Russell and their crew. Their price was lower then all 3 bids I had gotten from other companies. They were punctual, responded to my initial call immediately and gave outstanding work. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a good price, professionalism and excellent work ethic. Thank you Marv's Tree Service Anne Murray

I've used Marv's a lot in the past (see previous review). A strong windstorm Memorial Weekend brought a large limb down onto my deck. I called Trish on Tuesday, told her about the limb and that I had an above ground deck without steps. She said they could get up using a ladder if I was okay with that. I told her I didn't need an estimate as she's always charged me fairly. She said they could be out that afternoon. This was around 11:00 and at 2:00 they had already come and gone, took the limb away and had this nice clean cut on the tree where it came off. I was totally shocked. I originally thought she would charge $300 to take it away but when I saw this nice clean cut pretty far up in the tree and not easy to get to I was expecting a bill for $400. To my surprise when she mailed the bill it was only $300. I love Trish, her guys do great work, and she charges a fair price. I still have a lot of large older trees in my yard so know that I'll be calling her again someday when a storm with strong winds comes through and takes down another limb. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs a tree service.

I have used Marv's for at least 10 years. A coworker referred them to me, and I'm so grateful. Never call anyone else. Trish reviews the work to be done when I'm not home then sends me a quote. It's usually at least $50 to $100 less than other tree service quotes (I compare with two or three other providers every time). Marv's is dependable and professional.

The last time I used Marv's was last summer. They are the only place I will ever call. They are just wonderful, and I can't say anything bad about them. Needless to say, I will be using Marv's again, and would highly recommend them.

Trish is my and quot;tree girland quot;. I don't call anyone but Marv's when I need tree/shrub work done. I highly recommend Marv's to anyone who needs any tree/limb removal. I'm glad that I found their company years ago to do the work. I like to hire small private companies who take pride in their work. They always leave the yard clean after doing a job.
Description of Work: In July 2011 I had a very large branch of a maple tree come off during a storm and fell on my chaink link fence. Too large to chainsaw and remove ourselves, so I called up Trish at Marv's to come take care of it whenver they had a break in their schedule. She'll stop by the house when I'm not there, look to see what needs done, and then leaves an estimate in the door. I'm never on a time crunch so I let her fit me into their schedule. I first found them in July 04 and they removed a very large pin oak in my front yard, ground the stump, removed a smaller pussywillow in my side yard, removed a large locust in the corner of my chain link fence, and removed two smaller lower hanging limbs on a maple over the driveway. Back then I paid $1500 for all that work. In October 2005 I had them come back again for more tree removal. Took out a mulberry tree, boxelder, some unknown shrub type tree, and hauled away a large pile of brush that I had accumulated from shrub trimming. Paid them $750 for that work. In October 2010 I had her crew come by and trim back my 75' long hedge of a Honeysuckle Bush. It had grown to 12' tall and needed refurbishing. I had them take it all the way back to 18" from the ground and they hauled off all the debris. For this I paid $400. It looks great once again.
