Contractor was referred to me through a co worker of a friend of mine. I took his word he was as good contractor and knew what he was doing. I told him I wanted to widen my driveway to for 2 cars side by side from the beginning and rebuild retaining walls on both sides. We had to negotiate became he neglected to measure and if I didn't notice early on, my drive would not of been wide enough. I agreed to pay more to haul more dirt off. The 1st wall he rebuilt was a total joke which I got pics of. It was flimsy, crooked and nothing uniform about it. He hired a sub contractor which tore down and rebuilt. The original contractor also messed up original drive that I intended to keep with the weight of the bobcat. I paid the sub contractor to. The job was nearly done and I was proud of the job so I decided to pay the remaining balance. I travel for work and not home much which is the reason I did that and the job was going smooth up to that point. After paying, the contractor bailed out on me not finishing the job. I have a big dirt pile that was suppose to be used to fill in behind new wall that is still sitting in my front yard, the wall is not 100% complete and the sub contractor didn't finish his part. I'll take responsibility for paying when not 100% complete but you don't finish a job you're paid to finish. Now, my calls won't go thru so I have no way to contact him. I will pursue legally. I have pictures as well as all the text we exchanged and a receipt. Stay away from this guy!
