This was an absolutely ridiculous experience and I will NEVER go back. It seemed like it was one thing after another. The end product was fine but the service and the way I was treated was unbelievable. I was treated so poorly and accused of yelling at the person on the phone which was so far from the truth. I was told it would be ready on a certain day but it took over a week later until it was ready. I was also charged an additional $20 for something I was told when I dropped the watch off that there wouldn't have been a charge on. I really am not one to complain but I am appalled by the way I was treated throughout the repair of a watch.
Description of Work: I had brought in a watch to be repaired. It needed a new leather band, new crystal and the silver around to be buffed.

When my Grandma died I received a cameo locket that had resided in the bottom of her jewelry box for so many decades (six?) that my Mom indicated that she had never seen it. The locket looked like it was aged bronze or something, the cameo was loose, the catch was broken as was the hasp on the locket. I brought the locket to Keepsake Jewelers and asked if it could be repaired and the jeweler said he would be happy to look at it. A week later I went to pick it up and was so excited when he showed me the locket. It was beautiful! He cleaned all the metal so it was now a lustrous antique gold and he replaced the clasp and the hasp to look like the original piece. He was able to clean and reseat the cameo. It was so wonderful to see the beauty that he brought back to this piece that I received from my Grandma. My Grandma was not really into jewelry and didn't have many pieces so this was especially important to me and it contained a picture of my Grandpa. When my aunt visited from Minnesota, I showed her the locket and she started to cry. At first I thought she was upset that I had done something to the locket; she said it was because she had no idea that old tarnished locket could have turned out so beautiful!
Description of Work: Repaired an antique cameo locket that belonged to my Grandma.
