About us
With training from New York and Florida, I have been tuning pianos for over 10 years and would love to tune your piano in the central Indiana area. Unlike most tuners, I combine electronic strobe tuning and tuning by ear that result in better sounding instruments that accommodate pitch inconsistencies and flaws. You can also request any of the following temperaments: Vallotti, Bach/Lehman, Young II, Werckmeister III – VI, Kirnberger II and III, Quarter-Comma Meantone, or Pythagorean. As a professional pianist, I can also play your piano at the end so you can hear the difference! I make recommendations on repairs and regulating, but don’t specialize in most of these jobs. I do regulate and make repairs on pedal assemblies as a complimentary service. Tuning sessions can last between two and three hours and I charge $120 for a standard tune; extra $40 for pitch raising.
