Excellent work! Old water heater was 11 years old and started leaking 1 week ago. Leak was getting worse so texted Joe at J.P. Plumbing asking if he had availability to install a new water heater. He said he could do it on Monday (it was now Thursday afternoon), then he was good enough to ask how bad it was leaking. I told him the leak had increased and was very corroded. At that point he asked if I had purchased a new water heater yet, which I hadn't, and said he could order a new one in the morning and get his guys out to me around 2pm the next day. I asked about pricing (I had researched this) and his pricing was consistent with what I had seen, so I asked him to do it.

His guys came to the house as planned with the new water heater and had it installed in half an hour. They then cleaned up and took the old water heater away. Couldn't ask for better service.

Excellent experience. Joe and his crew were up front with his schedule and worked with me to determine when to start the installation. I was remodeling the entire house and had a specific window when I wanted them to do the work. I did the tear out to save money but they were willing to do that as well. His crew of two showed up as scheduled and were very respectful of the work I was doing on the house (didn't mess up the new stuff). They were very proficient and had the shower and tub in the bathrooms quickly. They set the toilet flanges then left to let me install the floor tile (remember flexible scheduling). They returned after that to install the toilets and vanity tops/sinks in minimal time.

Overall J.P. Plumbing was easy to work with and stay in contact with. I could text Joe and he would always get back with me. Any items I had questions about with were immediately dealt with. I would absolutely hire them again.

We had trouble with getting hot water to flow from the bathtub faucet. When they checked it out, the determined it was a problem with the cartridge, but just to be sure they checked other faucets. When he saw that the kitchen sink had low flow, he unscrewed the faucet assembly and cleaned the diffuser thing. They had to come back with the right part and that took two days. When they were here, though, it took two hours to do the work because the company (now defunct, and I'm not surprised) that installed the bathtub faucet used the wrong screws and basically jammed it all together. The service people made a quick run to a local plumber's supply shop and got the right screws. As the service person said, "I don't want this to be difficult if you ever need to change it again, and I don't want the next person who has this house to have this problem." I love that kind of forward thinking and professionalism.
