There were some real issues with communication, timeliness, and overall quality of the workmanship. The demo and roughing the room with drywall went well. As the finish work began, the timeline started to drag on and we wouldn't see any work done for several days to a week. The original timeline given was 6 weeks, and it ended up nearly 18 weeks. We admit, there was one change on the crown molding after it was installed, but otherwise, there was really no reason for the time delays. The coordination of activities such as painting, trimwork, installation of flooring, and other activities was very poorly planned. This created poor quality finish, damage to purchased built-ins and flooring. One example was cutting trim and doors to accommodate the new tile. Several doors, including one exposed to the outside temperatures was cut too short. They band aided the door with a flimsy draft reducer that is nearly broken after several weeks. We still have significant drafts. Overall, there was little oversite of the subcontractors and the ensuing damage they did to each others work. Flooring laid incorrectly, damage to trim and finishes ($3000+ items each) that still to this day have obvious cosmetic problems. We had to nag, nag, nag to get anything done to correct the issues. When they "corrected" the problems, they were not done well, often making the problem just as bad as before. It just got to the point where we just wanted them out of our house, because they just were not going to fix the problems to our standards.
Description of Work: Remodeled a room in the home, demo'ed the old room, drywalled, and installed new finishes.
