Had granite counters installed and a new backsplash in kitchen. A few months after installation we discovered a crack in the granite along the front of the sink. The crack had to have been filled and hidden before installation. Then the fill had worn away after some time revealing the crack. When we called about this Mr. Wei came out and filled it again. We asked to have a new counter installed for that section and was told they did not have that type of granite any more. We have called and been given the run around about repairing/replacing damaged granite. So now we are stuck with damaged granite and cannot get resolution. The did offer to do a more permanent fix (not a replacement) and would charge us over $300 to fix. Do not be fooled by the quoted prices.

Installers came to install the first countertop on 6/2/14. The countertop is about 1/2 inch too wide, but looks great. The installers arrived on time, were very courteous, tore off the old countertop and replaced with the new granite, connected the sink back up. The fabrication and installation was very good. After work was completed we were presented with a bill showing the balance we owed. We wanted to put this on our credit card, so the installer had to call the owner to find out what to do, we just told them we would come by the office in the afternoon and settle the balance in person, which we did. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the installers, so we ordered granite countertops for the master bathroom on the same day that the first bathroom was installed. We talked with Wei about doing the 2nd bathroom and paid a deposit; we told him we would get back with him regarding if we wanted them to plumb the sinks or not, as we also needed other plumbing work done unrelated to countertops but were unsure if we would be able to coordinate this or not.

Received a call from Home Granite on 6/6/14 asking if installation could be done on the following Monday, 6/9/14. We told her that we had talked to Wei about letting him know if we needed plumbing reconnected and had decided that we did need for them to reconnect plumbing at an additional cost of $170.00. We told her that 6/9/14 would be good if the plumbing reconnections could also be included. She agreed, and date for set for Monday, the 9th.

Installers arrived and quickly went to work tearing out old countertop and installing new granite countertops. They told us that Wei would be out in the afternoon to reconnect the plumbing and presented me with a bill showing balance and said we could just pay Wei when he came. We cancelled plans we had made and waited for Wei or someone from his office to come. This never happened. Tuesday 6/10/14 we called and asked why no one had come the afternoon before; the lady that answered the phone raised her voice and said you did not want us to reconnect the plumbing. I told her the installers had told us that Wei would be out and that we could pay the invoice to him when he came that afternoon. She basically called us a liar, not in so many words, but things like there is no way the installers would have told you that, that we did not tell her we wanted it plumbed, etc. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She then said that they could come out at 2:00 to reconnect sinks. After we hung up, we decided that there was no way we were going to pay someone an additional $170.00 that had been that rude and disrespectful, so we called and got the answering machine and cancelled the appointment. She called back in a few minutes and was then concerned about us paying the bill, which shows that somebody knew that someone was supposed to come since they seem to want to have that settled as soon as work is completed. Which is normal business practice, just as the week before, when we wanted to put it on a credit card, installer contact owner to see how to handle. I told her we would mail them a check, which I have done. I don't know if the problem resulted because she doesn't speak very good English or what, but we were so turned off by her attitude and lack of customer service that we will never use or advise anyone else to use their services.

Other than complete lack of customer service and basically being yelled at; the fabrication and installer were great. The installers were very polite, worked very quickly, and were very professional. We were very pleased with the work that was done, was only downgraded due to lady that works in the office. What should have been a 100% A rating because of workmanship and installation, was downgraded by rude, crude, obnoxious behavior of office personnel.

Most places I called either did not return the call or just refuse to consider doing this unless we had originally purchased to counter from their store. Home Granite and Cabinet Supply was happy to do it. They were extremely meticulous...constantly measuring to make sure that it was a good fit. They went above and beyond. In addition, they cleaned-up after themselves. Excellent job done.

Went in on a Saturday for a estimate on granite countertops. May was in the office and was very helpful and friendly. Although, their selection was not as big as some of the other granite companies, they still had a nice selection to choose from. The best part is, they don't nickel and dime you on the extras, like cutting the hole for the sink or faucet. From the time we left the show room our counter tops were installed within 2 weeks. They are solid. 1 1/2 inches thick. We have an "L" shape countertop in one section, all of the other places we went told us they would have to do 3 pieces for this area. Home Granite and Cabinet Supply did this section in one full piece. The installers did a great job. Would defiantly recommend this company.

My kitchen was completely gutted. Home Granite came on a Saturday morning and worked straight through and finished in 10 days. They took up the tile floor and removed the cupboards. I had wood floors put in and new cupboards that had to be configured differently and cupboards put in under the peninsula, I also had new granite countertops and sink installed.
Wei, the owner, helped me make choices and made suggestions. I listened to him and I am glad I did. I work during the day and Home Granite did most of the work in the evening while I was there and I appreciated that. They were very professional and friendly.
I would hire them again in a heartbeat.. I am very happy how my kitchen turned out, I love my kitchen,

Excellent experience from slab selection and quote at the store, thru installation at our home. Recommended alternative edge, which saved some money, and was ready for installation well before our required date. Excellent job.

I was so happy with their work I then hired them to replace 2 bathroom vanities with granite as well. The only small complaint I have is their communication could have been a bit better. They didn't tell me to buy my new faucets ahead of time, so they could drill the holes correctly. But overall I was very happy and would recommend them to others.

The group arrived on time. Two people began with granite counter installation. When they finished a person began working on the ceramic floor. Ray arrived and installed bathroom faucets and utility sink and faucet. He encountered a problem with the plumbing on one of the sinks in the master bath so had to go get additional piping. I bought the tile for the jacuzzi and he hadn't seen it, so i had to go out and buy header tiles for this type of tile before he could start on it. While the person worked on the ceramic floor, Ray finished the plumbing and working on the tile on the jacuzzi.

They stayed past 8 PM and finished in one day and cleaned up pretty well. I did have to go afterwards and add grouting between some of the tiles on the jacuzzi. The tile i picked was small pieces that were supposed to fit right into each other with no grouting inbetween. The 12 X 12 pieces were just supposed to be glued next to each other with no grouting inbetween. Ray said the tile was not cut completely accurately and would not line up right. I think he should probably have added the grout to finish the project rather than me doing it afterwards. But it was not a big thing and i would use his company again.

The granite countertops look fabulous! The lip is an inch and a half wide, and the granite itself is 3/4 inch. So it looks very nice in the bathrooms. The ceramic floor and tile and new utility sink are just want i wanted also and look great.

I had estimates from some other granite companies that were more than what he provided - and their estimates were only to replace the countertops and did not include the rest of the work i had done. I was very satisfied with his pricing which allowed me to finish completely what I had wanted to do, at a cheaper price. Ray said that was because he did not have the overhead the larger companies have. I was very satisfied and would use his company again.

First, I'm not a person who will rate a service all "A's" just because I happened to use them, so here is my honest account: You will not find a better value in Omaha for the money you spend. Communications are trying, at times, due to the fact that English is a 2nd language for everyone we worked with in the company...but working with these folks was an exceptional experience. They are responsive and provide you with exactly what they say they will. Pros: The value. The countertop is excellent. A stainless sink (underhang) is included in their pricing. They are responsive and keep you informed. Cons: The finish work provided when installing the cabinetry wasn't "1st rate," but it was passable. The holes drilled in the cabinets had splintering around the edges, there was a nail that was "bent over" on one of the trim pieces. Clearly, countertops are their 1st business and cabinets are their second.
