No reply in over a week.

i could not get them to call me back even after i followed up with calls several times. The receptionist kept telling me should have to talk to someone and call me back. She never did call me back. Hired someone else to do the work.

Not good, when I called to request that they install the ceiling fan I specifically stated that it needed a new box in the ceiling for the fan and that I had a special switch that would control the light and fan. They showed up on time but didn't bring a box for the ceiling fan. They didn't do any work that day because it was too late in the day and they had a Dr. appointment and rescheduled the following work day. They did offer to do it after hours so that I wouldn't have to take a second half day off of work. 

The second day they showed up on time and installed the fan box, ran a new electrical wire for the fan to the new switch, and installed the fan. They took 3 hours to complete the work. I requested that they install the fan as close to the ceiling as possible. The fan came with two different rod lengths, a short rod and a longer rod. After they left I searched for the longer rod just in case I wanted to move the fan to another house in the future and needed the longer rod. I didn't find the longer rod, I found the shorter rod! They installed the longer rod, not the short rod that I had requested. I didn't open the fan before hand so I didn't know that they used the longer rod. Now after paying $252, I have to take apart the fan and put in the correct rod. I didn't call and complain, so I left the responsiveness as N/A. I have used them in the past and everything was excellent in the past work.

My upstairs light circuit mysteriously stopped working Tuesday night. 

Called Wednesday morning. They went out of their way to fit me in same day. 

Identified the problem. Fixed it and went the extra mile to tighten up other connections and the the breakers in my breaker box.

Professional, accommodating, explained everything he was doing and why. 

Will definitely use again if I have an electrical need.

Terrific job by the tech. Really listened to me, The light switch problem was more complex than I realized and he worked hard to figure it out and get it fixed. Even though he had just spent 4 hours out in the sun on a blazing day he was calm and patient and told me that when he comes up against a complex problem like this he uses it as a learning experience. I knew he wouldn't stop until he got it fixed and he didn't. Excellent experience. I've had Gatchell before on big and small jobs and they're great...a family owned business that you can tell cares about its customers.

This provider is excellent. This was a complicated job because of the age of the house. It sounds easy to change out a few outlets and switches, but in every case it was necessary to saw through 2 by 4's to be able to place them, not to mention working with old wiring and the other complications of an old house. Also, it was more than just a few outlets and switches. The outside outlet required stringing wire from the box completely across my large basement, drilling through concrete blocks and bricks. The electrician was just terrific, working with me to retain the character of my old house, making sure I was entirely satisfied with the way things were going throughout the entire process, explaining how things worked. Several years ago this same company updated my kitchen lighting (again a very tough job because of the age of the house), made several innovative suggestions and I'm still delighted with the way things turned out!

Very professional, friendly representative. My furnace has not been checked in 13 years but there was no scowl or frown by the rep. when I made the statement. He answered my inquisitive questions, explained how the unit functions with a positive attitude. Would recommend this company and will use them again next summer to check out the A/C unit.

I called many companies , and told them what I wanted done , and after talking to Gatchell Electric , we settled on a price. They said that , they would get back with me next week. An hour later, I received a call from Gatchelll , telling me that one of there guys was done early and could swing by and take care of my job., 20 min later Mr. Reeve was there. He went right to work and did a great job, made sure every thing was right and check out to make sure light work good. and adjusted it just right. Very Satisfied with work.

The 1 1/4 inch pipe from the outside electrical meter to the point of entry into my basement was buried. This caused it to rust and was in danger of breaking through and possibly exploding once water got in there. The entry point was under an overhang that was just one foot above the ground. Most electrical companies wouldn't want to replace this, or would replace the pipe and wire away from the entry point, leaving some rusted pipe in place. Not these guys! They did it right. Gatchell Electric sent two highly qualified electricians, ensuring one of them could crawl into the very small space to do the job as it should be. Both of these guys were highly impressive. First, they are wonderful gentlemen and very professional. Second, they tackled every step with an important thought in mind...quality work that meets or exceeds code. In the process, they identified several items that were initially installed incorrectly, or not at all, by the home builder. It's amazing the home passed inspection...pay off??? These electricians worked really well together and worked at a good pace, so they didn't charge for any more time than required. Everything was completed to my very pick satisfaction...they far exceeded my expectations. When they were done, they cleaned up any mess and took the old parts away, as well. I was so pleased with their work, it was my true pleasure to buy them lunch! If you want quality work from electricians with utmost in integrity, Gatchell Electric is who you should call. They aren't a big company, but they are the best!!

The service I had with them was great. I thought the price was good for the amount of work he did. They were really responsive, punctual, and professional. I've even recommended them to a coworker. I would use their services again when I need them.

They are bonded and licensed. They show up when the say they will, and they do a good job.
