Conscientious and detail oriented is how I would have to describe Steve's work ethic. He came to our home to see the space and be sure the cabinet would fit. He returned to double check the paint color with our trim and had it matched exactly. These visits were entirely initiated by Steve and his desire to provide the best quality product.

Because I have to work away from our Omaha home, I have yet to see the cabinet in person but my husband, a talented carpenter himself, described the finish as 'fantastic.' From the pictures, I can tell the quality of construction. The attention to small details and Steve's customer service exceeded my expectations.

Steve and his crew did a phenomenal job with our basement. We have a walk out ranch that was unfinished and we hired Flair to complete the job. Steve worked with us and a designer to create a basement that is both beautiful and functional. I might be biased, but I believe we have the nicest basement and bar area in Omaha. I believe it is now approximately 1,400 square feet of finished basement. We have a 13 foot bar and an area with a shuffle board and poker table. One end of the open family room has a theatre area. There are two bedrooms, one with a full bath and walk in closet. And a and quot;powder roomand quot; and workout room. One thing we discussed with Steve is that wanted a nice area to entertain. We have had 40 to 50 people in the main area and did not feel crowded. All of the cabinetry is well built and beautiful. We have used Steve since this project to build wood furniture for our children's play room. We wanted the stain to match furniture that was currently in the play room. The finished product was solid and the stain matched perfectly. Flair is currently building us a new kitchen Island as well as adding a mud room to our upstairs. We would highly recommend Flair custom cabinets for any type of remodeling project.

The cabinets are FANTASTIC! They exactly match my older cabinets in the house. They are beautifully made. They are functional. The guys from Flair listened to my description of what I wanted and then submitted a design. I okayed the design and then they submitted a bid. Within a matter of weeks, they built the beautiful cabinets. Then, in a single day, they came to my house, removed the old wet bar, and installed the cabinets. They were quick, clean, and professional. It did take another day or two for their carpet contractor to come relay the carpet around the base, but that was okay with me. The finished product EXCEEDED my expectations and I am quite happy. I would definitely use Flair again.

We first contracted them to build us a boot bench. I think birch solid wood was used, and it cost us $2,700. We got 2 other quotes from Millard Lumber and Tangerine Designs which were about $1,000 more, so we went with Flair Cabinets. All of the work was done in 1 day. We really like how it turned out.
The second project was remodeling of our kitchen island. We ended up with one tier very large island. The work took about 3 days from start to finish. This included demolition of the old island and installation work, including plumbing, electrical, granite, new sink / faucet, small floor tile repair, garbage disposal and dishwasher hook up. It took about 1-1.5 months from the time we signed the contract to start the work. Overall, we enjoyed working with Steve. He and his team are professional and responsive. They don't do design work, but work off of your ideas. The island turned out very nice overall.
I would give A- for the work. The reason being that we didn't have tile underneath the old island and were trying to avoid the tile work, so the island was designed to cover the footprint of the old island. However, we did end up having to do minor tile repair anyways; had we known, we wouldn't have planned the size around the old island's footprint so much. It did turn out a little too big on one side. Also, when they installed a cabinet pull on the spice cabinet, they had to cut out chunks of wood in order to drill in the screws. The cut outs were not done cleanly and do not look neat.
We plan to work with Steve again to install a new hood and repair the backsplash in the near future.

The kitchen wall was modified to accomodate a larger refrigerator. Existing drywall was removed, studs relocated, electrical outlet relocated and the water service was removed and replaced in a more approperate location to serve the ice maker requirements. these changes then concealed with a natural oak panel, very professionally done.
The 'boss'/owner understood what we were trying to accomplish and related this to his craftsmen in such a way that there were no mistakes or delays.
Best results I've had in nearly forty years of home ownership.

I got a few estimates, and Steve's was the most expensive, but I am very particular, and I was confident after doing a little research and after to talking to him several times, that he would be the best person for this job. He clearly knew what he was doing--very evident from our conversations on the phone--even before he took a look at our project, which was really a small project, but he was willing to help us out.
I got prompt answers every time I called Flair Cabinets and asked, and I got e-mail responses every time I sent an e-mail. They came on the day they were scheduled to arrive (although they were later than expected which caused some hassle for my husband who was waiting for them to arrive). The work they did was of very high professional quality, and it was hard for me to tell that they had even been here when I arrived home that night--and I look at the small little thing!!! The only thing I did not like was the wood used for the door jamb. It was a cut of oak that I am not fond of, and Steve will be here next week to change it out for us.
As remodels often go, we ran into an issue because the veneer on our exiting oak cabinets does not go all the way to the top of the cabinet because the laminate countertops have a lip. The new granite will not have that lip, so i have hired Steve to come in and fix that for us, and I do that with complete trust that the job will be done perfectly.
I am a perfectionist, and they met my expectations.

They did very good.

I contacted Steve for an estimate and he came out to my house within a day. I have a partially finished basement and wanted to finish a bedroom and add some doors and trim throughout the basement which already had the drywall installed. The price seemed fair and given the go ahead, they had to order the doors and then prepared them and the trim work in their shop prior to installation. A few weeks later they started the work, it was completed within a couple of weeks. During the project, I requested a couple of changes and they were very willing to make revisions. I like working with this experienced company and really enjoy the high quality of their work. This is the second time I have used them for a basement project in the last 15 years and I highly recommend them.

They were recommended to us, and the work crew did a very good job. They worked hard, didn t goof off, and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up all the mess and we were very impressed with the cabinets and counter top. We would recommend them, as they were recommended to us.
