Fireplace by Design

These folks are awesome!  I had bought a gas fireplace from them two years ago.  Since then, they've had to come out 3 times because it would not light.  The first two times, they were able to get it lighting after working with the pilot assembly.  This third time, they decided the assembly was defective and replaced it and the flame sensor.  I had previously reviewed them after they initially installed my fireplace in Feb 2014.  I felt the need to write a second review after all the post-installation maintenance they have done.  I understand that occasionally a piece of equipment is faulty.  Stuff happens.  But, it's refreshing to find there are still businesses out there that stand behind what they deliver.  They acknowledged I had been having problems too often and made it their business to make it right.  Each time, they were professional, kind, knowledgeable, and punctual.  I really APPRECIATE their service.  I love the fireplace and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing fireplace work done.

John, the owner was very friendly and helpful.  He came to my house to scope out the work request.  He guestimated a few weeks short on the time it would take to actually get my fireplace installed. 
Nick, the installer, was prompt and professional.  He was very friendly and extremely resourceful.  The work he did was terrific and he accommodated me when I asked for a few alterations to the way he usually does business.  He also allowed me to ask about a million questions while he worked.  I was very impressed with him.
