They did do a lot of work after a hail storm demolished my house. They don't seem to be organized. I went to the office to pick out the siding I wanted. Darrin couldn't find it a few weeks later and ordered the wrong color. He also didn't measure all of the windows on my porch and ordered the wrong size. His resolution for that was to add 1x's and 2x's to make the windows fit. Now it looks like a jigsaw puzzle. I also pointed out concerns with siding that was installed incorrectly, the trim that wasn't cut correctly, and the gutters that were leaking. There has been no follow up since the work was 'completed'. Again, Darrin did great work with the insurance company. The follow through is lacking. And there has been no customer satisfaction after the fact

Yes, I recommend this pro
They were very quick to respond and were able to see us the day we called.  We had an offer on our house but the inspector and potential buyers wanted the roof evaluated.  I called Darren based on a referral from my insurance agent and he came out to assess any needs.

My home was severely damaged when a tree fell through the roof during a storm.  The house was unlivable and required restoration for interior water damage, repair of a broken truss, complete new roof & gutters, and installation of new drywall. The owner of this company presented himself as licensed and qualified to complete all of the work which I verified to the best of my ability prior to signing a contract. A very long list of problems began shortly which are too numerous to mention, however the most serious of them are performing structural repair for which they are not licensed, not obtaining permits prior to completing work, failed city inspections, and drywalling over incomplete and live electrical wiring. At termination of the agreement, Mr. Johnson refused to accept the insurance payment for work completed, instead placing a lien on my property and filing a lawsuit to foreclose. Needless to say, after 9 months of trying to settle the numerous complications I endured with this company, I could not recommend their services under any circumstances.
Response from Exterior Options
"Long to short.......I've been in business for over 10 years with little to no complaints. This customer was overbearing and too involved in her insurance process which I was helping her with. The change orders were constant, she had unlicensed family members trying to do illegal construction around my guys and had other contractors coming in regularly to inspect my work. Why would they ( my competition) say anything nice? After explaining the need for AC to run along with my dehumidifiers in her home, she constantly insisted on shutting them off to save electricity. This Lady kicked us off the job and refused to pay anything...I had put the outside of her house back together and pulled permits and passed for that portion. I was not able to finish anything inside due to our termination. I had over 17,000 in my own money invested into this persons house and she refused to even reimburse me. Some people are just impossible to work with and are looking for a hand out, poor me type. I wouldn't recommend even mowing her grass as you might be out on your gas!!!!"
