We thought that this car needed brakes as the front brakes were making a grinding sound. Tom adjusted them and lubricated them. He easily could have done a brake job and charged us. The brakes work well now. The rear electric window stopped working just after the manufacturers warranty expired. They fixed it like new. We have used Excellence for many, many years now for this very reason. They are as honest as they get. Tom is always willing to discuss optional approaches to repairs and tells you the pros/cons of each option. Because Tom only has a very small crew, and because so many people take their cars there, they often get backlogged. If you just drop by with a problem, it may take 4-5 days before he can look at it. If you can't be without your car for long, just call and tell them to set up an appointment for a time when he can get to it right away. You'll not be sorry

Took my wife's car in and was completely satisfied with the work performed. We had a noise in the front end and I wasn't sure what it was and I dropped it off to have them look into the noise and put some new brake pads They called before 10am to let me know that the issue was the front struts. They qouted me the price over the phone for the brakes and the struts. I told them to go ahead and fix it. They called again in a few hours and said the car was finished so we picked it up on the way home from work. My wife said it drove like a new car. We've taken our cars to them for years and have always been very impressed with their pricing, honesty and integrity. I don't hesitate to refer them to my friends.
