The crew did a great job coordinating all the work that needed to be done. We are so pleased with the work in our bathroom and would definitely hire Dr. Interiors again.

After a thorough discussion and home site visit with Dean, the owner, we got a detailed proposal and contracted with Dr. Exteriors. His four-man crew came on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Dennis was in charge. They started a 9 a.m. and finished about 1 p.m. without break. They did an excellent workmanlike job; were conscientious, and very communicative about what they were doing when I had questions. I would hire them again and recommend them highly.

They did a good job. They were very responsive to any issues I found. There were some nicks and dings in the wood and when we discovered them, they pulled it out and replaced it. I had a rip in one of the screens and they very quickly put a new screen in. There was an issue with a hinge from the manufacturer and they came back and replaced the hinge. They were great. I'm pretty sure they weren't the cheapest around but from the other quotes I had, they were actually below the other quotes. They weren't putting in pocket windows. They put in full replacement windows so I think it was a good job for a reasonable price. I think he sold me a good window. They were late once.

Dean and his brother were superb. These guys install windows the right way - they remove all trim (outside and inside), then install and provide interior trim and outside wrap/brick moulding that looks beautiful. We love the new windows and had no idea how bad our old ones were until we looked out these new ones. Their craftsmanship is second to none and everyone we interacted with was pleasant and positive. The work was completed on time and they cleaned up everything afterward. Dr. Exteriors' price also could not be beat. We compared prices from 4 other contractors to theirs and they were at least $4k less than the others. We were originally only going to replace the 1st floor windows due to our budget, but when Dean came back with an estimate that was significantly below the others, we decided to just do the whole house. Our only 'complaint' would be with the window manufacturer themselves (Heartland Windows). Their production process took a while and we had a couple of delays. We did however, have special order windows that had the blinds inside them, so I believe that played a major role in the delay. Overall, if you are considering replacement windows, you should definitely get several estimates and be sure to include Dr. Exteriors as one of them. Compare for yourself, but in my opinion these guys won on price, quality, craftsmanship and customer service!

We received multiple quotes and selected Dr. Exteriors because we liked the fact that he assessed the situation and recommended corrective action to fix the problem rather than just focusing on the product he was selling. Dean said that we may not need to replace two of the windows with condensation and ice build-up, but suggested that we likely had a problem with lack of insulation around the windows. His crew was able to remove the window trim and insulate around the windows, replaced the patio sliding door, and replaced the two large bedroom windows. They added insulation around those windows as well. The communication, professionalism, and work performed were excellent. We have made it almost a year now with no complaints. During our first winter following the added insulation and window/door replacement, we definitely noticed a reduction in cold air leakage into the bedrooms and only noticed interior condensation on the windows around the patio door one time (vs. daily during the winter before they performed their work).

Can't say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Exteriors! Dean was very helpful and patient with explaining the pros and cons of different window manufacturers. He helped us with color selection as well. Chuck is an expert craftsman and an excellent installer. Very professional and pays attention to details. His work with window installation, siding and outside trim installation, inside window woodwork trim, and caulking was very professional and of the highest quality.

"Hello Mr. {Member's name removed}, I saw your review. I am sorry you were unhappy with us. I am hoping to resolve this with you. I apologize you thought we didn’t do a good job looking at your house. Ray said he first talked to you for about 15 minutes when he got there. He said he walked around for about 30 minutes looking at the house. He diagramed all areas that needed repair. The right side was the worst that was what you pointed out. Ray also diagramed the left side which he found rot in. The rear was in good shape and mostly covered by deck. The front had a few small pieces in the roof area. Also on the review it shows yes on doing the work but we haven’t so if you could fix that to a no. Also if you want to discuss this further, please call me. I am hoping to get this resolved with you. They were going to charge quite a bit more than anyone else would have, to do what they were going to do. So, it kind of ended up not working out to my advantage. They quoted me $1200 and then, there was $250 off with the Angie's List promotion. I actually had a handyman come out and he was going to do it for about 50% less. The handyman quoted us $500. I ended up paying $40 for them to come out and do what they do for free. He was great. He was very helpful and kind. He showed up on time. They were great. It was just a little too expensive for me.

The crew showed up on a saturday and removed all of the existing windows and installed the new windows/doors by mid-afternoon. The trim work was then finished up over the course of the next few days. The quality was excellent and the crew was very responsive. The work was completed on time and the final bill was very close to the estimate we were given at the onset. I would definitely use this company again. We are very happy with the quality of the work that was done.

The estimate was timely. I was kept informed of the timing of the work starting. The work was done completely including all of the sub-contractors on an agreed upon basis. The foreman kept in close contact with me by cell phone to get input as needed as the job progressed. They were more than helpful to do extra items that I requested without an issue. They even worked with the supply company to get a refund when the materials weren't up to their quality. Although the job took longer than predicted, the quoted price was adhered to without question.

The crew of 2 carefully cut through the siding to remove 2 sections the width of the house surrounding the existing Z flashing and siding. They replaced with new cedar board and drip caps. They caulked and sealed. (Our final step will be painting.)
