This guy bundles his price for a list of jobs he was going to do for us so instead of paying his high hourly rate of $75 we got suckered into $150 for a job that took less than an hour. He weathered strip part of the door where it slides but left a gap where the door meets the panel. He did come back after we called and returned to weatherstrip this part. He used tiny nails and a garage bottom weather strip. When he finished we confronted him about why we had to pay 150 and he said it was bundled for other future jobs we talked about. We told him we would not be using him again and he offered no refund and became angry and unprofessional. My mother asked him several times to leave. Update: the weather stripping with nails is already falling down and leaking air. We highly recommend not using his services!

Everything went great. I called Dan to take a look at the siding on my mother-in-law's 100 year old house in Council Bluffs. The siding on the house was in need of repair due to some storm damage. Dan came out that afternoon to see what needed to be done, and as soon as the weather cooperated, he took care of the repairs. My 83 year old mother-in-law was so happy to have this taken care of. Thank you, Dan! We will definitely call you again and recommend you to all our friends and family.

Everything went well.

A representative for Dr. Odd Jobs contacted me the next day (after leaving a message on their answering machine) and set an appointment date for the next day after that...quick response in my book! The sequence of events are as follows: Carpender phoned letting me know he was on his way; arrived on- time; surveyed the job; got to work on installing grab bars plus minor re-install of towel bar; obviously knew what he was doing (finding studs...how to install screws in marble walls...);very pleasant to talk with; finished the job in 1 hr. & 45 min; took my Angies Discount coupon for $25.00 Off; billing was only $87.00...well spent and VERY reasonable!!!
Now that I cannot do "things" around the house, I feel confident in having Dr. Odd Jobs take over!

It went great.  Dr. Odd Job is busy, so we had a two week wait which we were told upfront.  Very nice guys... Bruce was here on time, and always called ahead.  It was a two day job due to the drywall...  We were completely satisfied and will have them back for any future repairs or other jobs..

The project turned out excellent.

The quality of the work was very good and it took him about three or four days. He brought the door in and stained it to match the other doors that are in the house. He did a great job of cleaning up and you couldn't tell that he was there. I'd definitely use him again.

They did a great job. I initially hired the neighborhood handyman and had a bad experience. When I called this company they came out within a day and did the job right the first time perfectly. They were professional and the price was good. I would definitely use them again.

Bruce and I missed connections once and played phone tag - but when I got a hold of hime a second time he was able to complete the job the next day.

Excellent!

Overall the experience was good.  We had a little hiccup on when they would be able to close up the fireplace but this was due more to the weather since it was outside work and the weather was iffy for a week or more..  I was apprehensive about getting that fixed first since I did not want birds or wasps getting up there building a nest and it was rotted out and falling down.  Once he came, he got the job done quickly and came back to do the painting when he said he would. He cleaned up everything.  They called to see that I was satisfied.  Though I was here for the first part expecting to pay then, they decided to invoice me when the work was completed and I didn't have to be home the second time they came out. The lock on the deck door was an offhand remark I made when we went out to see the deck work I wanted done and he stopped and spent about half an hour fixing it before he left for the day.  I'm thrilled to not have to fight it anymore.  It's the little things that make a difference.

Very professional, did take 2 hours to install(am not sure how long it usually takes) but it did end up costing more than I thought it I would because  job is charged by the hour.  I should have asked before job was started.  All in all I was impressed with him and work done.

Dr. Odd Job is always prompt and responds to cell phone messages. He is available for a variety of jobs we can no longer do, including cleaning seeds from our gutters which we have him do several times a year. He climbs to the roof and uses a blower to clear the gutters and drainpipes from debris. He is pleasant and easy to work with.

They did a wonderful job and got the gutters cleaned without any problems. They were prompt and also honest and respectful. This company actually referred me to a company so we could have gutter guards installed.
