+ -1 moreI hired Dwayne after I was given his name by a co-worker who had used him. He highly recommended D'Lucht Construction. He worked for at least 2 months on my house. (He usually works alone, but he was gracious enough to teach me as he went along, which I loved). He always cleans up when he's finished. He always makes sure your possessions are protected (if painting, working with drywall, etc.). He always arrived when he said he would be there. The quality of his work reflects how much he cares about doing a good job. He doesn't overcharge for materials. I can't say enough great things about his work style and work ethic. Watching him put mud on a wall is like watching a baker ice a cake. He has years of experience and knowledge on so many things. If you want something done right and by someone who cares that is done right, D'Lucht Construction is the company to call. Dwayne is the owner/operator.
Description of Work: I bought a house in 2004, built in 1961, that had no updates done to it in that time. I had a huge living room window that faced the back yard. I had a smaller window put in and the person that built the wall to fill the gap from the bigger window did a poor job. Dwayne applied mud to the wall, smoothed it out and repainted it. All the trim in the house was replaced, outlets and light switches replaced, new light fixtures. The den had paneling on the walls and instead of possibly ruining the walls by taking the paneling down, Dwayne applied mud to the grooves and then a light coat of mud over all the paneling. The walls look great!! Entire inside of house was painted. New entrance doors installed and insulated. My entryway had flagstone on the floor that had been laid in concrete. Dwayne took that out and placed a new subfloor and tiled the area. Walled off an area of the basement to create a separate room, installed a door. Garage wall replastered in small area.
