The service was excellent. They were thoughtful and they went beyond what they needed to do. Their facilities, work area and office area were very nice. Their communication skills and responsiveness to my needs were also very good. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

My chief complaint with this repair was in the timeline: it took 5 1/2 weeks when Dingman's told me it would be 3 weeks. The story: I booked Dingman's because they told me they could repair my car in 3 weeks beginning 6/17. I needed my car on 7/26 for a business/vacation. Took my car in on 6/17, got a call from Dingman's ca. 6/20 stating that if I wanted to save on my insurance rental car allowance for future use, I should pick up my car. Nothing had been done to the car for whatever reason. I picked up my car on 6/21 unrepaired, returned it on 8/12 upon my trip's return. Didn't hear from Dingman's for 3 weeks; I called them. They said there was a delay in the painting of the vehicle. I was concerned about my rental car allowance remaining so I called State Farm; they said they had received little communication from either Dingman's or Hertz about my rental car. Further, State Farm thought the return of my car to Dingman's was a new claim and did not understand it was a continuation of the same claim. In general, there was a lack of communication between Dingman's, Hertz, and State Farm. In my phone call to State Farm, I discovered that my rental allowance had expired; called Dingman's and they agreed to pay for additional rental car expenses. In sum, the delay in the repair of my car was unacceptable. I don't know if this was because of staffing issues, overbooking of work, or whatever, but though my car repair was fine, due to the exceptional amount of time it took to complete these repairs, I can't recommend this company and will not use them in the future.
