DAN KRACHT PLUMBING INC

Had three estimates..this was BY FAR the lowest. Came on time, did the work, showed us what he did and why. Was curteous and cleaned up after work. VERY good experience all around. It was Dad and son..owners of firm...who came and did the work.

I'd had my sewer line roto-rooted 1.5 weeks before, but that day the drain was backing up again, so I called around looking for the cheapest camera inspection available because the roto-rooter guy had told me that the sewer line had some physical problems. When I called Dan Kracht asking for an estimate I was told the camera inspection would be free. After inspecting the sewer line and finding it plugged and being unable to get the camera to go down the line due to an offset sewer pipe (a problem), the plumber recommended having the sewer line replaced. He contacted Dan Kracht's brother, Doug Kracht at HDK trenching and got a very reasonable estimate. I called around to check other estimates and chose to use HDK trenching. Unfortunately the experience with HDK was not as good, but that will be in a different review.

They sent a guy out the same day that I called, and that was important to me. He was clean, neat, and respectful. He knew exactly what to do and worked quickly getting it done. I felt very safe having him here. He explained his services and left.

We were very disappointed with the performance of Dan Kracht Plumbing. The workers, although pleasant, made a lot of mistakes, The hot and cold water lines were reversed, they could not get the dishwasher installed etcetera. We ended up finishing a lot of work ourselves and the paid amount listed is what we gave them, not the entire amount they tried to charge us.

He came out right away after we told him there wasn t a shut off valve for the water. He was very flexible and worked hard. He was nice, clean and professional. I usually want my husband here while there is someone here but he carried himself in such a manner that I felt safe and comfortable. We were pleased with the ending results and the price was fine.

Dan Kracht Plumbing was very professional and courteous. They were prompt to return my phone call and set an appointment in which they were five minutes early for it. Their prices are very phenomenal and I was very happy with the work. I had gotten other estimates which were much higher. When they finished, they cleaned up after themselves.

They were very unsatisfactory in their work. I was not happy with them at all. When they showed up, they ran into our fence with their van and they were running late. They just didn t seem to care and they didn t honor the original quote they gave me as they started throwing extra charges at me.
