It was quite messy and there was not a lot of attention to detail in the construction. We also had some problems with overcharges. The garage, deck and staircase were contracted for a certain amount of square footage and they had to reduce the size but did not lower the cost and did not tell me about the changes. The lack of professionalism of the supervisor on the job is my biggest complaint, however. The plumber that was used did a poor job and the people who installed the furnace and ductwork also did not install things properly. Both have since gone out of business so there has been no follow up on the work. The front of the house and a portion of the roof leaked had to have them do repairs for that. The roof leak was due to poor roofing work as well. The hardwood floors that were installed were not put in well, with big gaps between planks. The drywallers did not do a very good job either. The house failed inspection many times for electrical and other problems. I would not contract with them again. However, the people who installed the cabinetry were very good, the painters, inside and out, were very good, the trim carpenters also did a very good job, driveway installers, electrician and the mason was also very good.
