+ -1 moreThe project took about 4 weeks instead of the 2 he promised, but that was not a surprise in light of the magnitude of the project. Part of the delay was due to a missing plumber, so Chuck kept on schedule and pushed his subs to stay on schedule. They were all professional and efficient and hardworking. I was impressed. In four weeks he tore out a wall, tore out all of our appliances and floors, and even cut a pass-through window in the kitchen wall. Custom cabinets were installed, the hardwood floors were refinished, walls painted, new tile backsplash installed, and even wood trim added to the new pass-through. We were very impressed.
Description of Work: Chuck completely gutted our kitchen, including tearing out a wall, and rebuilt it. He suprevised subs who did the demo, plumbing, electric, and refinished the hardwood floors that we found under the linoleum. He built custom cabinets by hand in his shop and installed them himself. He did the tile work. Painters were subbed out but otherwise Chuck oversaw the project and did the cabinet work himself. He was very professional, thorough, and creative, and paid attention to details. He kept close track of the project and his subs and there were no problems with anybody. The whole project came in UNDER the estimate, in spite of additional plumbing work.
