Carlson Restoration

Don Carlson is an extremely nice patient person. I have nothing bad to say about him.
I have to say though I am very disappointed in the quality of paint they used for interior and the paint job had many flaws. Gross I know, but hairs and small debris under the coats of paint and some uneven drywall. It makes me wonder how experienced some of his contractors actually are. Sorry but this is the truth.
Insurance paid for most of the repairs but there was some out of pocket expense for upgrades.
I also question the installation of our Pella doors and windows. When Pella came out to put extra insulation on our sliding door, they said it was NOT the door he was told was installed. The window handles were also installed poorly and kept falling off when opening the crank out windows.

Don Carlson coordinated/quality controlled/scheduled all work on time and in the appropriate order. His workers were extraordinary, professional, courteous, and provided quality work. Workmanship was perfect. Interior work was prompt, and accomplished in a quality fashion. Highest quality materials were used. Workers were on time, clean, well-mannered and professional. Can't say enough good about Carlson Restoration and his entire crew. All work was monitored for quality and quality control was of the highest caliber. I would recommend Don Carlson and Carlson Restoration to anyone with a restoration project, big or small - - the company is the best I've ever dealt with...

Get a second bid or opinion from another contractor if you are not comfortable with any remodeler. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Knowledge is power- even in home repairs!

They were very polite at the customer service department. They came right out and told me what needed to be done. They told me a price, and they got started right away. They were working very quick, and they knew their job. They hauled away the old carpet and cleaned up well.
