They're  honest, affordable and get the job done. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. They don't up-sale and only do what your car needs.

My grandpa is a Vietnam vet. He lives half a block from this shop & has used it for years. He contacted the owner to have his car towed & looked at. He said they were going to tow it down there for free & inspect it. Carl, the owner, later told me he told my grandpa that tow was $60 & evaluation was $40. My grandpa is having a hard time & cannot afford food or rent. We went to get the car, I explained the situation & asked Carl if we could get a discount. He rudely said that he had let my grandpa know the prices, but reluctantly discounted $20. We sold the car for scrap. I went in to pay the $84 & told Carl I intended on leaving negative reviews online. He got very defensive. I said I would have rolled the car down the street had I have known it would cost $60 for a tow, & he was taking advantage of the elderly. Then he threw the keys at my face & told me to get the d*** car towed & get the h*** out of his shop. I asked about payment & he said to just get the h*** out.

I brought my car in to have the struts and shocks looked at and to get an estimate on repairs. From all the reviews this place sounds like a winner. Unfortunately, the price was quite a bit higher than I liked and I have to go elsewhere. If I had a lot of money, I wouldn't hesitate to go here. Sometimes it's worth the extra money to be treated like a valued customer. My experience was very pleasant. I brought in my car in at 7am. Carl offered me a ride to work, which was nice. He called me at work later to let me know he recommended I get the struts replaced. The estimate was $900. I thought that was a bit high, so I had to decline to have them perform any services. When I picked up my car, they did not charge me anything for the estimate. My car was washed and there was a nice thank you note on the seat.

We've used for longer than Angie's List has been around. We're there probably every month or so. We have numerous cars. We always need something. It went fine. Usually we take it, leave it and then pick it up at our convenience. They call you with an estimate and then they call you when its taken care of. They're very professional, very nice and they vacuum up the car when they're done. I have no clue what anybody else charges.

I've been using Buchanan's service for more than 15 years. They'll never do anything that is not needing to be done. They are trustworthy and dependable. If they need extra time they'll even drive me home and pick me up. A couple of years ago my timing belt broke as I waited at the light at 90th and Maple during rush hour. They were able to get a tow truck to me in about 10 minutes. They are the best auto service I've ever worked with.

I have always used Bucky's for flat repair and auto service. They are quick (no appointment necessary for flat repair), did quality work including buffing the rims of the wheel, and rebalanced the tire in a jiffy.

Service was timely and vehicle was spotless when I picked it up.

It is a gas station and they also do car repair. I spent $270 on that service. I would use them again if needed.

I give them an A across the board and will use them in future.
