I called to have someone come out and look at the water pressure in our shower and also to have a look at a leak coming from that same shower and affecting the ceiling below.  When the plumber arrived he came right in without removing or covering his shoes.  This wouldn't have bothered me so much, but we have brand new carpet.  I explained the problems we were having and he got to work replacing the cartridge in the handle of our shower.  The process took several trips into and out of the house...traipsing across the carpet.  He also had his shoes in the tub while he was working which made his shoes wet, and as dirty as the tub was after, the carpet was just as bad.  After replacing the cartridge, he discovered that the leak wasn't fixed.  He said we'd have to open the ceiling on the floor below the bathroom to find it.  That was what I was expecting, so it didn't bother me.  I asked him if he would be able to do that right away or if he'd have to come back (he had already mentioned that this job was taking too long.)  He said he'd have to come back another day.  I told him that the water pressure being fixed would be nice, but our bigger concern was the leak so we'd like to schedule it soon.  He said the main office would schedule that and we would just pay for both services after the leak was done.  Sounded fine, except the main office never called.  I even tried calling and leaving messages for them twice and still no call back.  Now it's been well over a month and I'm going with another plumber.  Even though we owe these guys money, I can't wait on this leak.  Overall, I'd never recommend them to anyone and I'll never use them again.

He is great. He comes out does the job and does a great job.

The repairman did not listen to the noise either before or after installing the arrestors. He assured us he knew what the problem was and that it would be fixed. But It made no difference. The knocking continued. We called another plumber.
