It was just okay. I disliked the communication. He didn't provide a written quote and so when the work was done, I had to go back to him. We had a misunderstanding what we had initially agreed upon. He was quite rude about discussing it actually. The work outcomes weren't as good as I had anticipated it to be.

We recently removed a deck and added a patio. We needed regarding done and sod put in. Brad came out and gave us an estimate. We scheduled the work for a few weeks later. He told me to give him a call a couple of days before we were ready to begin. I did and he came within the week and did the work. Everything looks great and we are very happy with the results.

Over a month late. After several phone calls work was finally performed.
The work performed however was done very well and I am pleased with the
outcome. It is frustrating when things don't get done when promised.

Went extremely well.  He did an awesome job getting this exactly right.  Very professional and courteous.  We would definitely use him again in the future, very pleased with the work done and the extremes he went to to make sure it was right.

The project went well and communication was good.  He did what he said he would do and offered to come back if there were any issues with the settling or sprinkler head elevation.

He came when he said he would, and I needed him in a timely manner and he delivered, although a bit pricey at over $400 for one man hour of work...I kind of assumed when he quoted me the price he would be here all afternoon but it didn't work out that way.  If I had it to do over again I would try to negotiate a price break, but obviously I was in a hurry because I was selling my house soon so I guess I had to pay extra for a one week out service call (One week from when I contacted him til he fit me into his schedule to do the work).  Plus good luck finding anybody willing to come out to your house for less than that anyways...small jobs seem to be the hardest to find people willing to do them these days.  The work looks good and he seems very knowledgeable about grading and getting water to drain away from your foundation.  I would trust him to do the job right.

I got a hold of Brad on a Tuesday and he said he could do the work on Friday.  He quoted the job over the phone, and seems to believe it was very do-able.  I called a couple times on Friday to confirm he was coming, and he came at the end of the day, around 5pm.  Maybe I'm the nervous kind, but I would have preferred a bit more detail on when he was going to be there, because I spent a fair amount of time waiting for him to show, until I learned it was going to be the end of the day.  When He did show, the work was very good, he took time to answer my questions and always asked if I was satisfied with the work he performed.  we eliminated that dip in the yard, and I would use him again. but I'd be clear on when he planned to show up.

He was prompt and gave a reasonable bid.   He graded the yard to try to increase drainage.  He laid sod on about 2/3 of our back yard.

Showed up on time and did a wonderful job on our front lawn.  We get compliments from people in the area all the time. Will definitely call him if needed in future.

The weather wasn't cooperative for Brad, but it was great for us.  The project took a week because of the rain.  If he had cut the sod and it was a gentle rain, he worked in spite of the weather.  Since he works alone, it takes longer than if he had a crew doing the work.  But, because he does all the work himself, you are certainly getting work of high quality.  I think ours would have been done in three days, but the heavy rain was welcomed by us because it really soaked the sod and helped get it growing in our yard.  Brad spoke with us after finishing for each day asking about our satisfaction with his work.  He called when the rain kept him from working on our yard.  Upon completion, he walked us around the yard and made sure we were happy with the new yard.  We were very pleased with his work and surprised by his excellent customer service.  I think it would be hard to find someone that is as focused on customer satisfaction.

An extensive 3-level retaining wall/terracing project in my backyard resulted in several large areas of bare ground needing reestablishment of a lawn.  Brad did some regrading at the upper level to redirect drainage away from the house foundations, then installed sod on all 3 levels.  He did an excellent job!  He grows & cuts his own sod and was able to match the bluegrass and fescue mix that comprises the rest of my yard.  The sod he installed had been cut only a few hours earlier and, because it was also cut thick, looked fresh and healthy after the work was completed.   He thoroughly cleaned up the job site, even fixed a damaged area in my front lawn at no charge, and explained in detail how to care for all the new grass to insure it would thrive... a true professional in every respect.

Brad was a true artist and craftsman in not only changing the grading of the yard to improve the water drainage (we did not think to even ask him to do this as we did not know it was an option) but the quality of the sod was exceptional. He did not charge extra to improve the yard. He not only was responsive he was incredibly hard working and very respectful of our property, dogs, and inconveniences that the work might have caused. The sod was very fresh as he cut it himself. We did not know this when we hired him but he uses his own sod source from a property near Ashland. This meant the sod he laid was only a hour or two between cutting and installation. We can't recommend him enough. What a very pleasant surprise and extreme value he was. We had no idea we would get the level and quality of service when we hired him.
