Every subcontractor they used showed up on schedule, did professional, top-notch work, and completed the work on time. They checked in frequently, and always kept us in the loop on next steps. We absolutely loved working with Bolte Construction. Bill and Geoff are both knowledgeable, friendly, fun to work with, and very protective of their clients' needs. We were nervous about hiring a contractor for the first time, and we were blown away by how great Bill and Geoff were. We could not have asked for a better experience. We contacted Bill based on other reviews on Angie's List. He came to the house and we described what we were looking to do -- add a kitchenette and laundry facilities to our finished basement. I had a rough sketch that I provided for the kitchenette. Bill assessed the locations we had picked out for the kitchenette and laundry room. He estimated what he thought it would take to get them done and gave us a rough guess on the cost. He was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. He had us laughing and really put us at ease. There was no doubt that we had found our contractor. We loved him instantly. Bill does not do design, so he gave us his preferred suppliers for design, cabinets, tiles, etc. While we were working on that, Bill had his contractors (plumbing, electrical, etc.) come to the house and evaluate the work. Once all of this was done, Bill worked up a final estimate and we got the work scheduled. Bill and Geoff (well, mostly Geoff!) got the basement ready for work. We have a walkout basement, so plans were made for everyone to come in and out of that door instead of using the front door. They pulled back the carpet all the way to the door to protect the carpet from damage. They also put up plastic sheeting to help contain the dust that would inevitably be flying around. They were so careful with our things and did everything they could to protect them. And all the while they were just incredibly enjoyable to have around! All the work went really smoothly. Bill works with great contractors, so you can trust that the job will be done well. Geoff was here frequently to check in on the work and make sure things were going well (and to help out where needed). Bill also stopped by from time to time. If I had any questions about the schedule or the work, I could contact Geoff and he always got back to me right away. Throughout the process, we felt like we were in great hands. From the moment we met Bill, and then later Geoff, we felt really confident about the whole project. By the time it was done, you couldn't even tell any construction had taken place, except that we had a beautiful new kitchenette and new laundry facilities. The experience was above and beyond what we had hoped for because Bill and Geoff are so great. We will definitely hire Bolte Construction again, and we cannot recommend them more highly.

They gave us an estimate; that was the final cost. They told us how long it would take; that's exactly the time it took. They knew exactly what to do but asked us for input on several items. The outside of the porch blends in so well, it looks like it has always been there.

It went perfectly. We removed a window and wall, replaced cabinets with new, new tile floor and updated electrical/plumbing. My kitchen is now Architectural Digest worthy. But more importantly, the workers were careful to clean up after themselves daily and arrived on time, completing the job as planned. The one day someone accidentally hit a water pipe with a nail, the mess was cleaned up and repaired before I could get home. Bolte Construction did an awesome job. He responded to phone calls, emails and text messages and things were always done the way he said they would be. I cannot imagine any other company could have done a better job. Work was done by his subcontractors but they were cautiously selected to give the same excellent service that Bolte provided.

We hired Bolte Construction for complete remodels of the master bathroom and a kid's bathroom. This involved taking both rooms down the studs and moving everything including plumbing and some electricity, removing an outside window and putting in a new sub floor. The bid at first seemed high, but after getting some much lower bids, we realized the other contractors did not really have a grasp on how much we were going to need done and the quality we wanted. Geoff spent the most time at our house and my kids loved him. The communication was great and they didn't seemed phased by the changes in plans were threw at them along the way, including a total change in the master floor plan after we had already started. The subcontractors were all easy to work with and did quality work. The project was completed on time with the only delay being the week we were waiting for the city plumping inspector, otherwise there were people working at our house most weekdays. They respected our family and our home.

Terrific! Never worked with a contractor so punctual and thorough who does what he says when he says he will do it. We have had loads of compliments on our new addition and we love it!

Over all, very well. Ran into some problems with the existing structure that we knew might be present, but late in the project. All was addressed in a highly satisfactory way.

We could not possibly have been more impressed with Bolte Construction. From the moment we met Bill, we knew he was the contractor for us. VERY friendly and down to earth and he immediately put us at ease...which was good since we had never done a project anywhere near this size.
The project went very smoothly from start to finish and we were kept well informed and updated at every stage. The construction was excellent and all of the crew did an awesome job of cleaning up at the and of each day. Every crew from the electricians, drywallers, framers, plumbers, tilers and painters were extremely respectful, professional and friendly. AND they put up with our two curious dogs every day!
The quality of the work is second to none. Our new basement is absolutely perfect. We love it and everyone who has visited has commented on how great it turned out. We have recommended Bill many times since he has worked for us and will definitely use Bolte Construction again in the future for upcoming projects.

excellent job from teardown to plumbing and new lights and redone wood floor to appliance installation and new door.  bill was here in a timely manner and he explains what is going on very well.  he is very clean.  i believe he showers every day-just kidding-he and his crew worked at cleaning up the dust and mess and left things clean. i feel comfortable recommending him for any construction job especially a job in the home..

Our new deck is a piece of art!  Bill Bolte went way above and beyond our expectations (which were already high because we'd heard good things about his work).  Our deck is large (about 1100 sq ft if I'm not mistaken) and extremely tricky as there are multiple angles and some places where the original deck wasn't level to the house.  Bill used a laser system to ensure that our deck is absolutely level, and laid everything at a 45 degree offset.  The thing is so beautiful we don't want to come inside.  
I'll confess that we were concerned about the price at first, but after comparing his bid to two others, we found Bill well in alignment with the competition among those who do high quality work.  He's also extremely personable, as is the helper he worked with.  We would definitely use Bolte Construction again.

We were recommended to Bolte Construction by a friend of ours who had some remodel work performed by Bolte Construction.  After seeing the quality of work he had done, we called and set an appointment to discuss our options.  Bill, Geoff, and their staff are extremely knowledgeable, honest, timely, and produce quality work.  We had never completed any home repair/remodel of this nature before, yet working with bill allowed me to feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process.  From the initial visit and estimate, to the final cleanup, and every step in between, they were always reachable, communicated well, and were respectful of our home.  We had (at best) a rough idea of what we were looking for in a basement finish, and with the help and guidance of Bolte Construction, we were able to fine tune a remodel that fit into our budget and provided us with the living space and flexibility we were looking for.  From the bathroom to the Home Theater, HVAC to plumbing, Bill and his team know what they are doing, and they do it well!  At no time did we feel concerned about the quality of work, or timeliness of the project, and couldn't be happier.  I highly recommend Bolte Construction to anyone looking for home remodeling/finishing in the Omaha and surrounding areas!!  I will definitely use them for any further remodel needs we may have.

Our bathroom was in need of a major overhaul. There were leaks, mold, cracked tiles and blocked plumbing. Bill Bolte's crew removed everything from the bathroom including a cement subfloor. Bill suggested several ideas to bring our bathroom up to date.  He was the only contractor we talked to that came up with a plan to make our long, narrow bathroom more useable. He did not have to relocate plumbing but made better use of the space we had.
On our initial meeting with Bill, he told us we would see something happening each day during construction and we did. He told us that keeping our home as clean as possible was a priority, and they did. He told us how much time it would take to complete the job and he finished exactly then. He also told us that he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy with the final project and he was good to his word.
This was a very pleasant process. Even the cabinet people told us we picked one of the best contractors in the city. He made frequent contact with us throughout the remodeling to keep us apprised of progress. He came up with innovative ways to repair/replace water-damaged wood. His craftsmen and subcontractors were courteous and competent. We are completely satisfied with the results. We have happily recommended him to friends and family.

This was by far much easier than anticipated.  Bill and his son-in-law did the initial demolition and the mess was cleaned up every night.  They also moved the refrigerator to the family room so that we had access to that throughout the process.  Each subcontractor was very easy to work with and, when they left each day, things were also cleaned up.  Plastic sheets were hung between the kitchen and family room and over doors to the other parts of the house to try to contain the dust as much as could be done.  Every day that work was done, Bill came by to check on things.  This was very reassuring to know how closely he was keeping track of this project.  He was also very easy to contact when questions arose.  I also was impressed that as soon as the cabinets for the micro and oven were installed, those appliances were hooked up so that we no longer had to rely on the little toaster oven we had been using.  The completion date was accurate with the exception of having to wait on the delivery of the ordered switch plates.  I feel every effort was made on the part of Bill and his subcontractors to make this project as comfortable on us as could be..

OMG it was fabulous! Bill and his team are the best, clean, professional skilled experts with loads of experience. I never worried. Several friends and some neighbors took my suggestion to work with Bill Bolte and they are very happy! Bill and his crew are also genuinely nice, and honest folks. Can't wait to remodel something else with Bill. The crew was always on time, good with my dogs, cleaned up every day. I never worried about leaving the house in Bill's care.

Bill and his worker arrived on time and were friendly and informative. Bill gave me price and told me how long it would take to install my dog door. The work was done was amazing and on time.
