Big Red's Handyman Service

DO NOT HIRE JIM LITTON from Big Red Handyman Service. He is very unprofessional, changes prices after he starts. took my money and NEVER finished the work.  I called many times to ask him to finish it. He stopped answering the calls. He is a thief and liar!! I highly advise you NOT to hire him for anything.

Mr. Litton replaced the three interior doors and two exterior storm doors.  I prepaid him for the materials, then even though I was not satisfied with the work done on them, I then paid for the labor and actually tipped him so he'd come back and replace a bedroom window.  The workmanship was rather crude...certainly not professional grade.  When he replaced the front and back storm doors, he failed to install all the parts and incorrectly adjusted the door closer.  Then I prepaid him over $400 for a replacement window which he said he would buy and replace within a week.  He stopped answering my calls after 10 days.  I had to resort to calling him from other phones which he would answer immediately.  He came up with many different excuses, finally saying he didn't have the time to replace the window.  He said he would leave the window in the back yard.  Well, no window was left in the back yard.  I called again...I had to use someone else's phone so he'd answer...he insisted he left the window in the back yard leaning up against the house.  Since that time, I have read very scathing reviews of Jim Litton's quality of work, one flat out called him a liar and a crook.  I will NEVER hire Jim Litton again.  I would advise no one to hire him for any handyman job.  I know I'm not the only person he's cheated.
