Big O Maids

A team of two came to clean the house.

One was very professional and thorough, although she did break the plastic guide on the shower door. She did an excellent job of cleaning the bathrooms.

The second member of the team was a nightmare. She failed to dust much of the living room furniture (and I don't have that much furniture) and did a poor job of vacuuming. She spent much of her time complaining about various ailments and rearranging decorative items on kitchen shelves (Seriously, she totally moved pottery and other things around - even to different shelves. She initially asked if she could move two items. I gave her permission, and I guess she thought that meant she could rearrange everything).

They supplied their own cleaning products. The one that was used for dusting left major smear marks, so I found myself redoing a number of items - from the kitchen countertops (which I would have thought something other than a dusting product would have been used) to spots left on two walls to my computer speakers. At least the computer speakers were not damage.

I did complain to a man named "Dale," and he assured me that the company would "make things right." However, it took five-six phone calls before the company eventually refunded my money. At the time of my first call - I waited a couple of days before deciding to complain - Dale told me the second member of the team already had been fired because of complaints from other customers.

As a side note, one of the cleaners did say that, if I "liked" the company on its Facebook page, I would get a discount on my next cleaning. Hence, the reason for Angie's List.
