Slumlords do not remt from them! They dont fix any thing. We went without water or were bot able to flush toliet for 3 days. Basement flooded and our belongings were ruined. There was a rodant problem managment did nothing. Mice ate $400 worth of food and my children's clothing. Do not rent from belfury!

These slumlords of Omaha are terrible about fixing things the city of Omaha will come knocking on your door and you should get out of the property and hire a lawyer these people run everyone to court and try to sue for an absurd amount when no damage was done. I did not move when the city came knocking to condemn i let them basically do the patch job to try to satisfy the city code i was in no place to move financially that quick with small children but now I wish I would of moved out. Needless to say six months after my lease was up i moved and six months after I moved got served with small claims court papers. The sad part is the office for small claims said Bel Fury tries to run all their renters through small claims court. There were 2 other renters that morning in the same court room for them. The city of Omaha is terrible for letting these people scam renters . Show up for court the first time otherwise your screwd. They will suck the blood sweat and tears right out of you.

Once the ac got finished we moved June 23rd 2015 they held my dep fraudulently the house was left immaculately they are slum lords they only fix things once the city is involved if I had know that I would have called the city on them

We should have known that this company was going to be terrible when we were signing our lease. While signing our lease, Kerri and the lady that was working as a receptionist at the time were making fun of another tenant in front of us for complaining about insects. When looking at the house, we were told to make a list of things that needed to be fixed and send it over. I did this within 14 days and got zero response. We did have a contractor come out and paint our very dangerous back deck. Same contractor contacted us a few months later because Bel Fury had not paid them. The fencing in the yard was just left lying around and was hazardous. It did cause injuries. Finally, after being here nearly a year, I sent and email in with pictures after a very windy night with the fencing strewn all over the yard. Kerri called me and was extremely rude saying they will just remove the fencing. I said the reason we chose this house is because it has a fence, you cannot tear down the fence and not put another one up. She told me I would have to tie up my dog. There are holes in every single screen in the house. The screen door for the walk out basement has never been put on or fixed. There are constantly insects getting into the house, which Kerri told me that it was our problem and to use bug killer. We have called and emailed Kerri so many times within this past year with promises that are never kept. We are paying well over what this house is worth. When a renter is paying for rent, they are also paying for services and not just living in the house. We signed a two year lease and as we were planning on moving because of the company, we have been given a 60 day notice that they aren't renewing our "one year" lease. The neighbors have said that other renters in this house have also had major issues with Bel Fury. As the previous review stated, they are slumlords. This company should not be in business. Do not do business with this company. You will live in unsafe, unsanitary conditions that will never be fixed. You will be treated as a third world citizen.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to review landlords before renting. Unfortunately, we did not and now we are facing nearly three years with of headaches with this company. We have been out of our home for 4 months now and still have not received the deposit back, even though there was no damage to the property and we hired cleaners to make thenplace spotless. These people are seriously slumlords. We had serveral repairs over our two years in the house that took months to repair or were never done at all. We even had plumbing issues and we think some sort of hazmat issue that made us sick the entire time we lived there. The office lady, Kerri, is a huge liar and never follow through on the things she says she will do (contact the repair man, contact the accountant, etc). Same as Elaina, the property owner. However, if your grass gets a tiny bit long, you will promptly receive a complaint from the office. Awful people. STAY AWAY!!!!
