All work was explained, and scheduled in a timely manner.

Everything went well. He was very efficient at what he did and has a very pleasant personality.

He did a great job. He really cared about doing good work and wanted to make sure we were happy with the finished product. Would definitely use him again.

Mark redid the tile in a second bath, including the floor,and added some tile to a basement bar.
Mark was very conscientious, punctual, and responsive.   He did a very nice job on the tile, and was
very flexible in working around other contractors.  He was also fair on price.  I have already recommended him to my friends.

Couldn't ask for better.

Start time was per schedule and completion date was ahead of schedule. Quality of work was excellent. We are pleased with the finished product.

Mark completed all work in a timely and professional manner. The second bathroom presented a problem because it was poorly designed to begin with. There was a leak behind the shower head. Mark spent additional time looking for a shower head that would fit into the water pipe. He was unable to find anything that fit so he then spent additional time putting the original one back on even though that meant coming back 2 or 3 times for 15 minutes to plaster and dry the ceiling. He didn't charge me for all the additional time. I highly recommend him.

They did a wonderful job on the hardwood flooring. We have used them before for a tiling job in the basement and that was really well done also. He did a good job and he was on time. He was sober and I thought it turned out well.

Mark is very detail oriented and our kitchen is beautiful. Five yrs ago he did my neighbor's kitchen and that is why we hired him. We waited a few weeks to get on his schedule because we did not want to hire anyone else. We supplied all materials and had everything on site except the counter, before he ever started. There were a few missed communications about what day he would be on site and such but the overall job went very smooth and on time. Mark is a very personable worker and very professional. He is a true wood craftsmans. Those are very hard to find these days. Did I say he is also a perfectionist??? This is a good thing when renovating. We will be hiring him again for another project.

He would communicate when he would be here and he was very good about being here when he said he was going to be. He cleaned up at the end of each day. It took him about two weeks to complete this work and he completed the work within the time frame he said he would. We are happy with the work he did and have received numerous compliments. We had received a total of four estimates and Mark's prices were the best.

Mark installed hardwood flooring in our kitchen about a year ago. At that time he also put in new countertops and back splash./ We also had Mark install ceramic tile in a downstair shower. That is a small batrhroom but Mark was just as meticulous about just the right color grout as he had been with the ceramic backsplash in the kitchen.
All of our furniture is antique, some quite valuable. My real treasure is a French china cabinet (circa 1840) with a curved glass door, hand beveled mirrors and tiny, delicate spindles. Mark is so extremely careful with every piece of furniture I didn't have to worry. (Well yes, of course I worried but I knew I really didn't HAVE to!)
I wish there were a higher grade I could give Mark. His workmanship is marvelous. He is really an artist. Every piece of hardwood was carefully chosen and installed. A perfectionist, Mark is without a doubt the most precise craftsman we have ever had the pleasure if knowing. He enjoys his work, takes pride in what he does....and it shows!
He takes care if everything from start to finish, make sure there is no clutter left behind and we could not be more pleased in whatever he does for us.
Now I have to start looking at ceramic tile for the entryway. That's the next step and I don't want anyone but Mark Baylor to do it!

I have no complains since they did an excellent job.

Intially it was tough to talk to Mark as his and my schedules conflicted, but after we overcame that obsticale I explained what I wanted and he was able to do exactly what I wanted. :)

We wanted Mark's advice on the materials. He met us at the store Friday afternoon, picked up the materials at the store Saturday morning and delivered them to our house..He returned the following Tuesday to begin work.

Mark is a craftsman. It has been a long time since I have dealt with someone who takes real pride in his work. Mark does that. He truly enjoys what he does and this is apparent by the result..

He installed the countertops first. My husband had requested a beveled edge on the countertops and Mark did an excellent job. He then installed ceramic tile for the backsplash. Mark suggested he install it diagonally (The tile was diagonal, Mark wasn't).

The diagonal tile is really stunning..We would not have thought of it had he not suggested it. We love it!

When installing the hardwood flooring Mark was just as exacting and precise as he had been with the countertops and ceramic backsplash.
The floor is beautiful. We couldn't be more pleased. It's like having a new kitchen!

Mark Baylor was as professional and personable as we had been told by the friend who recommended him. He arrived when he said he would. He charged exactly what he had estimated. He took old materials out of the bathroom so we didn't have to dispose of them
He laid ceramic tile and was very exacting about the color of grout would be best. The tile looks great!

Mark is extremely neat about his work and himself. We will definitely have him install hardwood floors and new countertops in the kitchen......within the next few weeks, I hope!

If you need just about anything done, Mark Baylor is the one to call!. Ours was a very simple job but Mark told me he loves challenge so if you have one, call Mark!

Baylor Home Improvements did a wonderful job on both our patio and the steps. We really enjoy having the patio. The quality of the work is great. The workers were on time a friendly. They were great at their jobs. I don't know the price but we would not have hired them if it was not a fair price. I would recommend them to others.
