We perform surgery, and provide thorough preventive dental care. We perform general examinations and administer vaccinations. We operate an in house laboratory and have an in house pharmacy. We offer Pet Boarding. Dr. Beck performs Canine Physical Rehabilitation using therapies such as Acupuncture, LASER Therapy, Underwater Treadmill, and Therapeutic Whirlpool. We are the only clinic in the region to offer Kerdog Cart Therapy for retraining paralyzed pets.

Dr. Backlund is amazing. A truly exceptional vet who is doing just what he was meant to be doing. Our younger dog has some joint issues which Dr. Backlund identified at his post-adoption checkup and outlined several options for us for managing his condition, including food, vitamins, etc. He also sees our dog frequently to make sure his weight is healthy as it will be imperative for managing his condition. Our dog seems to have had a bit of a rough go of things before he landed with us and had some fear and anger during his visit. Dr. Backlund had endless patience and never once seemed to be anything but calm and kind. He is a very experienced and knowledgeable professional and is honest in his communication about our dogs' health. His office staff gave us some great suggestions for helping our dog to acclimate and adjust to a new life and help manage his fear symptoms, including the use of aromatherapy to help calm him while visiting the office. The office uses technology to really help with appointment reminders and share news about pet health (i.e. reminders about flea and tick medications, pet registration, new developments in animal care, etc) We have had a truly exceptional experience at this clinic and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Beck and Dr. Backlund.  My experiences over the last 2.5 years have shown them to be intelligent and capable in their veterinary skills and compassionate and responsive in their patient care skills.  Dr. Beck is able to provide a range of options for dogs with short and long term musculoskeletal needs.  She gives you the options without pushing anything on you and/or making you feel guilty for choosing what works for your dog, you and your budget. Dr. Beck and her vet tech, Cassie, make themselves available for questions and concerns. I first met Dr. Backlund when he assisted me with an acute medical condition for one of my dogs.  His willingness to assist in a complicated matter on short notice was remarkable.  In addition, the veterinary staff is friendly and compassionate.  The clinic is always clean.  The prices of the services I have received have been on par with other veterinary providers in the Omaha metro area.
