Called Automatic Rain and they were very responsive. Owner, DJ, checked system out and said it was an issue they should have picked up on in the spring check up. He fixed the problem and said no charge! Great attitude. Great service. AR and DJ deserve an "A".

The service was frustrating. Their rep showed up half an hour early, unannounced, before I came home. This frustrated him because he stated quite clearly he wanted to finish and get off work early. We had three stations that did not work. He replaced a diaphragm in the controls for two station, which fixed one of the two, then discovered he had replaced one that was still working. He claimed the one that was still working was set to fail anyway. He replaced the third diaphragm and fixed that station. We paid for all three, by the way. The last station clearly had a leak and very low pressure. He walked around looking for a leak for about five minutes, said he could not figure it out without digging up the lawn and left. He did get off early.
In October I had another company blow out the system to winterize it and they found the leak within a matter of minutes.
I have had service from Automatic Rain for 8-10 years. It is inconsistent. Sometimes they do a fine job, sometimes it is sloppy work, like the last time. I won't go back.

This company takes care of all my irrigation needs but the replacement of the heads was something I had to pay extra for. They do an excellent job of getting to my home on time and are very professional. I also happen to think that for the money, they are one of the most competitive companies in the area.
