Arnold Clark Studio

Photo session with photographer was superb. He spent over three hours with our daughter and took the most beautiful pictures she has ever had. They even corrected some "headless" poses on the resulting CD. Everyone was courteous and helpful, even though the place is like an assembly line where people are herded like cattle through various rooms.
Several issues I have:
1) The prices are outrageous, in my opinion. We priced several others in the area and found these to be at the top of the price scale. However, they are that good if you want to pay that much.
2) The CD which was supposed to be for Facebook had ugly Arnold Clark logos stamped across each photo with a bright pink background right across her torso. My goodness, what an insult to our daughter. This made the photos unusable and made me think of money-grabbing self promoters. NOTHING can be reproduced for personal use. They grab every penny they can. This is the main reason I downgraded this company. It was disgusting to us. I suppose they think we are going to make thousands of copies and sell them for a profit. Hey, this is a senior picture and we are just a family who wants great photos of our daughter. I'm sure they have a good attorney.
3) The final shipment takes about one month to get from the "lab." Something you just have to live with.
We felt herded, overcharged and, at times, treated like an outsider, after the bill was paid, of course, and insulted by all the ugly advertising on our CD photos. Supposedly we were given a price break because they used her pictures for a mall display, but I'm not sure anymore what the actual discount was and if it was ever applied. It got lost in the shuffle of this enormous price list. I also got the feeling that this business is, in summary, to be greedy and self promoting, not personal. That being said, the photos themselves are awesome! I just don't want to go back for another experience like that.

The appointment was on time and took approximate 1.5 hours.
