They showed up on Monday Feb 27th with several guys who started to remove all the siding and gutters from the house
As of today, April 9th, the house is still without siding, gutters, soffit, even the mosture barrier is gone exposing the raw wood to the elements.
After the second day one Ted and one worker would show up, periodically. He tiled a bathroom floor and shower/tub enclosure and did a very poor poor job and promised he would fix the floor which was a mess. Before fixing that job he went to on to the master bathroom.
He started with the shower enclosure and the tile did not run straight up the wall, you could see with the naked eye it was off at least two inches from floor to ceiling. Again grout lines were inconsistent, gaps where way off and tiles were installed crooked.
He had him remove the tiles and do it over. We asked that he not grout anything before we inspected it. He went ahead and grouted it anyway.
We asked him mulitple times to not start on the master floor, he ignored this as well and started on that project which is uneven and grout lines are not straight.
The grout in both showers is not a consistent color meaning the grout was not mixed correctly.
The tile work was so disappointing we needed him out of the house and gave him a chance to begin siding. At this point our house has been without siding and gutters for two weeks.
He started siding the back of the house. He would show up ocassionally and made very slow progress. I had to call and text to get him to show up, he said he would then never show. This is a small one story house and it took two weeks to side the back.
Finally on March 26th I called Ted and said we needed to terminate his services. Again he promised he would have a crew at the house, get the siding up and remove the sidewalk by April 4th.
On April 4th I inspected the house and all that was done was a few rows of siding on one side of the house and the siding was put up crooked! When I checked the back of the house he did not install drip caps over our brand new windows or seal any of the joint in the siding.
On April 4th contacted Ted and requested he call. On April 5th I again contacted Ted and he called back. I officially terminated his services and requested a refund of my deposit.
He stated he would call me on Monday April 9th to work out the refund. Of course, he did not contact me.
I contacted him on April 10th and he returned my call. I again requested a full refund which he refuses to discuss

"As a Business owner, We try very hard and give every effort to please customers. It is unfortunate that a few customers, as in this instance are unable to please. The statement that is given by the Customer is far from accurate. Not only did our company release him from his obligations to us but did also the carpenter whom couldnt tolerate his attitude and hostileness towards people. Its very easy to claim that the project was not completed. We as a company would agree. Therefore it seems hard to rate a finished project until it is finished. If ANYONE wants the thousands of refences that we have available, we can GLADLY provide them. We strive for customer satisfaction but customers also please realize that we are human beings in the same. Kind words go farther and we deserve to also have a comfortable environment to work at. As for other Contractors , we would also not recommend doing any work for the Customer as you will be pulled from job to job , be constantly expected to perform things above what you were contacted to do , and also be told constantly "how to do your Job " . This matter is currently in litigation for the reasons that over 1 k worth of our tools were conveniently "stolen" from a locked house which the Customer was the only one in possession of the entry keys. Further responses to follow if needed. Thanks for reading."
