WOOD FLOORS R US

I was very impressed with the entire crew. They were punctual. They were professional. They did what they said they would do. I would definitely hire them again. I was especially impressed with the lead guy, Ryan. I think they did an outstanding job and I would definitely hire them again!

They did a great job and we loved them.

Wood Floors R Us was scheduled to come to our home to give us an estimate on repairing our hardwood floors - the scheduled time came and went and no one showed up or called to say they were running late or had to reschedule.  I called the next day and was informed that Steve (the owner who does the estimates) was too busy to make the appointment.  I was then rescheduled for the following week.  He arrived early for this appt and we discussed the 4 projects to be completed; he gave advice on how to complete the projects, encouraged us to do 2 of them ourselves and said he'd get back to me with an estimate.  When we talked again to get the estimate I said we were interested in him doing all 4 projects and he gave us an estimate of $400.  We agreed that was a reasonable price for the projects and were scheduled to have the work done; since our home was vacant at the time he said his employees would call when they arrived at the house on that day.  When his employee arrived, other contractors were already at work that day so the house was open and he completed 2 of the jobs we had scheduled (the floor was properly secured but the transition was cut in the wrong place because he didn't call to confirm the location when he got to the house).  Soon after we received a bill that stated "Fix warped floor - $400"; when we called to inquire, his office staff said she wasn't aware that all of the work hadn't been completed and she'd have to check with Steve.  After MULTIPLE calls in attempt to get an answer, she informed us that the estimate had been only for the two jobs and that he'd have to come out to do another estimate for the other projects.  We finally decided to have someone else do the work as communication with Wood Floors R Us was very difficult and we couldn't get them to return calls or come back to the house. 

We are still disputing the initial bill as we had to hire someone else to fix the transition and complete the rest of the work.  Steve said he'd call to discuss the situation but we haven't heard from him in months after we've called the office multiple times. 

Although Steve was helpful during the initial estimate at the house, we have had nothing but trouble with Wood Floors R Us and have spoken to others with the same report.
