Had no problem with them for the first year, but then we moved. First they would forget our recycling. Then, they would show up at 5:30am. It is against city ordinance to pick up trash prior to 6am. It took a lot of time and a great many phone calls to get it sevices in a correct manner. Then, the phone pre-recorded calls that they send out the garbage is going to be moved to another day due to a holiday came at 5am. There were three weeks they called and said there wouldn't be collection for the recycling that week. Yesterday we get a mailer that starting this next pick up, they are going to every other week pick up for the recycling. It would have been nice to have received that information more than 5 days before my service was SUPPOSED to be picked up. I am done.

We have had them collect trash and recycling for at least a year. The
garbage collection has been fine. The recycling pickup was ok for a few months (they'd miss a few times and I'd have to call). Then the recycling pickup got so that each week, I'd have to call to get them to come pick it up, b/c we would get skipped. The person was not coming on the alloted day. So, they switched our day, and things were fine for about 2 months. Now more of the same. I have to call each week b/c our recycling is not getting picked up. I'm given excuses each time like, "truck broke down", "new employee", "ran out of time", "weather has been bad". I don't know how the garbage guy, from the same company, manages to make it out here every week, but the recycling guy cannot. It boggles the mind. I am tired of having to call each week to get my recycling picked up, and having the can sit out at the end of my drive for days until it does. Then the recycling inside of our house builds up on the counter, b/c the can is sitting outside waiting to be emptied, instead of sitting in our garage where we can use it. We live in the country, and the end of our drive is quite a distance from our house.
The service is cheap. I guess this is a prime example of getting what you pay for.

Very unresponsive. When starting service, adding an additional bin and stopping service you are always told it will be a week to 10 days before they can get it done. This is already far too slow in my opinion but then it actually takes them 2 weeks or more to do what you've requested.
Any additional items, an extra bag of trash, a small piece of furniture etc,, will turn up as resulting in additional charges on your bill as opposed to other companies in Lincoln who take care of this for no additional cost.
Service can be spotty, several times they failed to collect the trash for the week, so it then builds up for 2 weeks. Finally I got tired of dealing with it and switched to a local, family owned company.

I called Waste Connections and they answered all my questions. One day curb-side trash and year-long yard waste pickup for $19.25. There wasn't a term commitment, but if you did cancel within the first year there's a $10 fee. I set up a start date based on their estimated delivery of the bins. They told me they'd be delivered within 7-10 days. To my surprise, they were delivered within 4! I've only been using their service for a couple of weeks now, but I haven't had any complaints.
