I'm pleased with the service they provide.

I use TruGreen for both my business and residential lawn service. There is a noticeable difference in my yard compared to my neighbors, so I know it works. I wish they were a little cheaper; however, I have called other lawn services and the prices are the same. So I will stick with them because I know they do their job.

They always leave us a note telling exactly what they have observed and what they have done.  They give any tips about what we could be doing to keep the trees and lawn up better and healthier.  The experience went well.  They always notify us in advance when they are going to come.  In case, we have dogs or animal there, we can keep them in.  They are slightly above average, but we get what we pay for.

We are not satisfied with the service. Price is too expensive. Frankly, when they say they are going to kill the weeds they should kill the weeds. They must do as they say .

We have a contract with them. They are punctual and do a good job.

They do great work.  I would recommend them.

I continuously had problems with weeds and in particular - crab grass.  I switched to Tru Green from Heartland because they stopped by and gave me "a deal" to switch.  After the first year with them I was not happy and told them to stop treatment.  Despite my request, they applied another treatment.  I paid for it and contacted them again to tell them to stop treatment.  They applied yet another treatment. I told them I wouldn't pay for it.  They then contacted me and offered to do all of the treatments for the rest of the summer for $44 a treatment (normally it was $63).  I agreed.  They then started to bill me $47 for each treatment.  I realize $3 is not a big deal, but I told them about it and they claimed the agreement was for $47 so I paid it. I continued to have trouble with crap grass despite repeatedly telling them about it.  I thus decided for this year (2012) I would switch back to Heartland lawns.  I called Tru Green and told them I was canceling and to not apply any applications, explaining the problems I have had in the past.  So far they have not made any applications but I just received a phone call from "Steve."  Steve was asking me why I dropped the service and I explained why.  He explained that normally they were pretty good about crab grass and stated they could come out and do a few things.  I explained to him that they should have done that last year when I told them about the continuing problem and told him that I had already gotten another service to which he sarcastically stated "good luck with that" and told me how other companies use granular chemicals to suppress crab grass while they use a liquid and if my crab grass wasn't controlled with the liquid I would have real problems with the granular.  He again sarcastically stated "good luck with that" to which I told him it couldn't be much worse!  I am definitely unsatisfied with Tru Green and no matter how much the discount the service - it isn't worth it.

My experience with Tru Green Corp was a complete nightmare. They came out and did all of the services which was fine but when it came to customer service they failed. Their billing department kept messing up the billing and that aspect of the service. They charged me for things I didn't order and I ended up getting stuck with the bill on something I never wanted to have done.
