They shaved her. Period. When I picked her up, they tried to justify this by saying that there were two many matts in her fur (which I know to be untrue) and that when they tried to comb her, she was aggressive and bit.

I am also fairly certain that this didn't happen as I had been combing her and grooming her from the time I got her and never gotten such an adverse reaction. I felt very much like they placed the blame on me for the results of the grooming, I felt as if they were condescending and rude in their approach. Never had troubles such as this with other groomers we tried!

"I am sorry you did not have a good experience at our shop. We strive to make both our human and canine customers happy. Sometimes its not easy pets don’t always take to dematting, especially when they are young or inexperienced with grooming. Cutting them shorter for the pet and groomers comfort is sometimes best. We always try our best to take the customers wishes into account. If the pet wasn’t matted then I do not know why we would not leave it as long as you wanted it unless the groomer misunderstood. Again I am sorry that your visit was not a pleasant one."

We have been taking our dog for 3-4 years. They do a very good job. The care that they give our dog is great. They are also very timely. The dog doesn't have to be there all day. My dog even likes to go there, so that makes me feel good about dropping her off.

We recently switched from a big box groomer to this smaller one and have been really happy with the results. I thought it was a very reasonable price. They are very personable and sweet in terms of dealing with the dogs. They are concerned with their personalities, if they were comfortable, happy with their grooming and happy being there. They worried about the well being of my dogs and that was the nice thing and they really emphasized that was their main concern. I have been back 3 or 4 times.
