Well after they lifted the garage they found the footings were good. So we made another deal, they were to just replace the block, pour the floor and replace about 1/3 of my driveway. Plus they cut their price by about 25%. The issue I had was the block work was poor, it had to be re-tucked once, they reused some of the blocks, which is no big deal except some have hair line fractures and got reused. They put some of the block in backwards, which again would be no big deal except that one side was painted. so now my block needs to be painted on the inside or I have a patch work of paint on the inside of my garage. The took apart my work bench and did not put it back together. They left about a nickel sized hole in my garage door. They were messy the concreted they poured around the foundation, oozed onto my patio, the left little pieces of cement on my patio, and driveway which I have to remove with a hammer. They were just overall sloppy.

That is everything bad. The good was they were cordial and prompt. They seemed honest. The work is serviceable. The garage floor itself looks nice.

I would not use them again, unless they were doing something very simple for me.

The crew arrived on the appointed day and completed the demo work quickly. After that initial quick start, though, things started to drag. I've done construction work in a past life, so I hope that I speak with some knowledge and sympathy for their situation. The first thing that bothered me was that the crew did not show up every day as promised. Wednesday of the first week they did not come at all, and I was never told whey not. I had been told that the crew's time would not be split between my job and any others so they should have been working a full day, every day, at my home. Also, they were not always careful about keeping the dirt and debris from the bathroom from being tracked around the house. When it came to the dryway finish work, the crew cleaned out their bucket and dumped it in my front yard. The new sink and shower door were not ordered in a timley manner so when it came time to get them, they were out of stock at the local supplier. I spent most of one morning tracking down a sink and was able to find one in Omaha. Why did I have to do that? I took an "alternate" shower door, rather than wait two weeks for one to be ordered. This was my first experience where I had not done all the work myself so maybe I was not a savvy enough customer or just expected too much. But my honest opinion is that this could have been a way better experience. As it was I'd have to classify the job as average at best.

The company does very high quality work for a very reasonable price. The custom cabinets the built for my kitchen in their own cabinet shop are exactly adapted to what I needed, and cost less than factory cabinets I priced at Home Depot. Every cabinet includes drawers and pull-outs so there is not one inch of wasted space. The company's workers were always punctual, well-mannered, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Their work was of the best quality. The only problems I had were some drywall separation and a cracked tile, and they were prompt to fix the problems under warranty - even though the cracked tile was probably not their doing. They were on the job every day, and did not allow problems to affect the budget very much. They took longer than expected to finish, but I would rather have the quality and put of the inconvenience of a little delay if it is needed to get it right.
