SELAH CONSTRUCTION

He came, measured, and gave me a quote of $1200~ to build a linen closet from a coat closet. He was recommended to me by a friend, so I said yes and gave him half ($600+) That was in MARCH. He was going to order the door to match my existing doors, and TWO MONTHS later he said he couldn't find one. I did research and ordered myself and had it in one month. I called him (JUNE) and he said "I'll pick it up on Friday to stain it and then do the work next week." He didn't show up. By then I was tired of begging him to work for me, so I didn't call back. Finally the last week in AUGUST I called to say I'm going to find someone else even though he has had my $600 SIX MONTHS. He suddenly had time to do it that next week. I was hesitant to give him the door as I might not see or hear from him again for who knows how long. I found someone else todo the work.
