I've always get an appointment and get the work done.  They worked with our home warranty outfit.  I think they do good work.  I think they would do more if I wasn't on a warranty which is not there fault.  They've been good to us.

The estimator was late, but called, as the weather was bad. When their estimator arrived, I made it clear I wanted at least a 9-year water heater, and discussed different brands, brands I did or did not want. I mentioned I was partial to Rheem, GE was OK, not in favor of Kenmore. I had looked at Kenmore brands at Sears and could have bought/installed a 9-year Kenmore for about $850. He set up the time to come and do the work and said he would call about the water heater itself, but never did. The day before work was to begin, I called Patriot and inquired about the water heater, and told them I was adamant about it being a 9-year at least. They told me on the phone they's have to check with their supplier and would get back with me, then they confirmed the appointment for the next day. The next day they were nearly two hours late, never called, and installed a 10-year water heater, an A. O. Smith brand. I've never heard of A. O. Smith brand. No one discussed it with me in advanced, and I felt like I had been swindled and over charged. I complained bitterly about this, telling the installer if I had the power, I'd have them yank it out my old water heater reinstalled. I never heard back from Patriot Plumbing. I'll never hire them again or recommend them.
