The experience was good when they came to my home, helped me with carpet samples, etc., When the installers came they were very pleasant but the boss of the crew was in a hurry as he was leaving on vacation, one of the guys on the crew had a bad back so wasn't able to work as well as he may have been able to. After the carpet was installed in July 2011 I noticed the seams were very visible. I waited awhile as I knew it sometimes takes awhile for the seams to not be visible. However, that didn't happen so I called and the installers came back and fixed one of them. There were also a lot of strings from the carpet in the thresholds which I have been cutting off but there has also been fibers lost in those areas. I have called them several times since then and have excuses ranging from family emergencies to coming out and saying they would be back and then nothing happens. At this point they are not returning my calls. I have not yet gone into the store to see if I can get some satisfaction. I can hardly believe the poor quality of the installation or the lack of care by the owner of the store. Believe me, I do not encourage people to go to O Street Carpet. I spent a lot of money and am not satisfied.

We were very satisfied with the whole process. Dave at O Street Carpet helped us every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable about the various products and very cordial. We never felt pressured and Dave took lots of time to explain the various products. We were happy with the suggestions he gave us. The people he had install our vinyl, tile, and carpet did a very nice job. They were very prompt, professional, and left our place very clean. The upstairs carpet was finished in a day. The tile and vinyl were done in about a day and a half. Dave arranged for everything from getting measurements to the carpet and tile/vinyl installers to arranging for the plumber who did the necessary work in our bathroom. He also kept us informed of what was happening when, and worked around our schedule. We had dreaded the process of having every floor in the upstairs of our house redone ... but it ended up being a very simple and satisfying process working with Dave at O Street Carpet.
