Mike's Organic Lawns

Great--I was already using him. I looked at your list to find someone for mowing because his business was growing, and he was going to be putting less emphasis on mowing. He always emailed a heads up when he would be doing work in my yard, which I found very convenient. I'm allergic to most lawn products, and I liked knowing I could walk barefoot in my yard at any time.

He's great.  The lawn looks wonderful, and I love that he communicates any updates in a timely manner.

We were familiar with organic lawn services as we had utilized a similar service in the large urban area we lived in prior to relocating to a small town in NE.  We are incredibly grateful to Mike for taking us on as clients.  We don't live in the Lincoln area and he was the only provider willing to speak to us about providing services.  Organic lawn care is a priority for us.  We have 4 canine kids and a great deal of wildlife that "visit" us on a regular basis.  We did not want harmful chemicals on the lawn to protect the two-legged and four-legged inhabitants! 

Mike presented an organized plan.  We have a two acre lot and we wish we could treat the entire property with organic products, but it just isn't fiscally possible.  Mike worked with us to maximize the organic coverage and minimize the amount of traditional product we had to use on the green space. 

Mike went above and beyond to complete the initial treatment prior to a pre-planned trip out-of-town that was going to preclude him coming to our home until mid-month.  Additionally, he respected our concerns regarding our animals, including our follow up questions when they helped themselves to the fertilizer, all-you-can-eat buffet (the product is corn gluten).

We intend to utilize Mike's services for all of our lawn care needs.  We can see an improvement in the grass health and a reduced number of weeds after one treatment when compared to the products our previous provider used on the lawn.

This service is a bit more expensive (~$5/mow) than our previous providers.  The organic fertilization program is also a bit higher (due to it being organic I assume).   That said, we have been extremely happy with the services provided.  Mike is always punctual with weekly lawn service, gives plenty of notice when yard treatments are upcoming, and has an electronic payment option which I appreciate.   Great care is taken when mowing the lawn and doing the trimming.  Previous lawn services we have used swept in with a crew of three and the object was to get the job done quickly not well.  Many times our wet lawn was torn up from the oversized equipment.  Mike has been taking care of our lawn for the past year and he has undone the damage done by previous services.  I can recommend without reservation.  The little extra a month is well worth he exceptional service we receive.   

He's super fast, affordable, efficient and very responsive via e-mai. He tooks care of some extra weeds in the back garden and didn't charge extra so I appreciated that. He's a nice guy, great service and it was worth it.

He comes when he is scheduled. He emails me before he comes to let me know when hes coming and what he is going to be doing.
