Merry Maids of Lincoln

Requested a first time deep clean of my apartment while I was away for work. When i came back, I was surprised and angered that very little was done. The baseboards and window panes were still dirty. My bathrooms didn't look like anything was done. The shower in the master bath still had soap scum on the doors and dirt/ debris/ mold in the door frame. The toilet had urine on the seat and wasn't cleaned inside the bowl. The sink had hair and dirt in it. The only thing I could see done in the kitchen was the stove top was cleaned. The outside of the cabinets were not wiped down. I'm giving 2 starts because I was told the 2 person crew was on time. I would not recommend this company for cleaning services.

They were excellent.  The windows had varnish and paint residue on them in addition to cobwebs and dirt and hadn't been cleaned for 7 years.  Very big job.  MM did an excellent job.

On time. Flexible (I added a bathroom. No problem.) They got right to it. Worked fast although I told them not to kill themselves...they could pace themselves(it's a BIG house). They used a product I had. No problem. Everything was done thoroughly and to perfection. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I would recommend them far and wide!

It went quite well. There was a supervisor who inspected all the work done by the other cleaners. She was very professional, and we were happy with the results.

The first visit was supposed to be a and quot;deep clean.and quot; For over $400, I expected both DEEP and CLEAN. However, when I got home I found hair, dustballs, and sticky spots on the floor in several rooms (even though we had let them know that the floors and baseboards needed special attention). I called to complain and they sent people back the next day to redo the floors; the results were okay but certainly not worth $400.
The second visit was a regular cleaning and it was fine.
Today was the third visit. The note they left said that they had dropped one of the iron grills onto the stove; there is a HUGE chip in the stovetop on our almost new stove. I am absolutely livid that they left a note saying that if I had questions I could call the office. Really? You ruin my appliance and you want ME to call YOU? Anyone with an ounce of customer service would have called me IMMEDIATELY to apologize and see what they could do to make it right.

I think my biggest problem is that I never know what I'll find after they've been. Occasionally they do a GREAT job. Occasionally it looks like they just came in and watched my television. Most of the time, they dust and vacuum the conspicuous places/things but I've noticed that although they've vacuumed the center of a room, they didn't vacuum behind the door! They like to take the trays out of my stove burners for washing and not put them back correctly. They don't seem to get the cobwebs up in the corners or anything like that.
Yes, the company will come out and re-do if you call in to say that their work was inadequate. However, if I had time to ride herd on the Merry Maids, I'd have time to clean my own house. Then I could save the money I pay them. Moreover, I don't want my house clean the next day after I called-in, I want it clean the day I was scheduled. The office staff try to be very helpful and responsive, and I do realize that any service like this one where you send workers out unsupervised to various locations will have some subset of workers who will be inadequate at any given time. It just seems that it happens too often.

They did a great job! I was late calling and they were able to fit me in! I only call them once in awhile, when I am swamped, and they always are able to fit me in!

The contact person was very friendly and accomodating. The cleaning crew arrived on time. They did a very good job. The bathrooms are very clean and everything smells and looks great. They were friendly and good with the pets. The cost seemed a little high. It came out to be around $40 an hour. This will keep me from hiring them on a weekly/monthly basis.
