General Remodeling
Overall, it went well. We are very excited about the newly renovated space and love that we were able to preserve the charm of old house while still adding some modern conveniences. Our biggest hangup seemed to be with opening up a wall or floor and finding additional areas that needed attention (i.e. rotted floor joists, poor electrical wires and cracked plumbing). Unfortunately, the 'surprises' set the project back several weeks. That couldn't be helped and certainly wasn't Brian's fault. They addressed the issues without batting an eye and fixed everything before they sealed it up. We also loved Brian's willingness to listen to our 'vision' and run with it. He and his crew each have over 20 years of experience building and renovating homes.
We ended up paying $22,500 for the time and talents of Brian and his crew.
We paid and additional $26,100 in materials and supplies for a total project cost of $48,600.
