"Thanks [member name removed]"

"Thanks so much for the review [Member Name Removed], it was a pleasure working with you guys."
One vendor managed to ship the wrong custom French door and sidelite unit - wrong color, wrong opening (would block the deck stairs when open) - AND the wrong patio door (wrong side opened). These units were nearly $10 grand worth of hardware; Lance took care of it all and made it right. What could have a disaster (and a court fight!) turned into a routine delay instead when the vendor took back the incorrect products and replaced them with the correct units.
He also made sure that the final details of both the deck and the screened-in sun room below came out right in both appearance and function.
Highly recommended. This project is featured in JL Exteriors current TV ads and made our comfortable but somewhat cramped 1979 brick ranch with walkout basement into our dream home.
"Thanks for the great review [removed member name] Hope you enjoy your new space for years to come and let us know if you ever need anything. Thanks again."
Our house was built in 1985 and had the original Louisiana Pacific siding that was deteriorating badly. We sought bids from four different contractors to replace the siding and gutters. We knew we wanted cement fiber-board and chose James Hardie’s product for each of the bids. Lance’s bid was competitive with the other three, but we chose his company because of the thoroughness of his proposal.
All four companies submitted their bids to us by email, but it was Lance who followed up with a phone call arranging a time to come out personally and explain the proposal. During this meeting Lance not only went over exactly what was to be done and the cost involved with each process, but he also provided names and addresses of past customers so we could look at the quality of his work before making the decision. To offer a point of comparison, one of the other three bids that came in was only one page in length and the description and breakdown of the work didn't even fill up half of this page. This particular company offered free gutters with a whole house siding project and even then their bid was higher than JL Exteriors.
The work began on November 8, 2012, two weeks from the Thanksgiving holiday. Lance told us that the project would take approximately 15 working days and his crew only worked Monday through Friday. We knew up front the work would not be completed before the holiday and that his crew would not be working on the Thursday and Friday of the holiday weekend, which
was fine with us as we didn't have to worry about banging and such going on while we were home during this break. The Pella windows were installed before the holiday so we were able to get the curtains back up.
The crew arrived every morning by 7:30-7:45 am and were packed up and gone each evening by 5:00-5:30 pm. If we had any questions or needed something moved to get a car in the driveway they were very accommodating. They did find some rot in one section of the house and fixed it before installing the siding, but not until showing us the section and getting our approval. At the final walk-through when the work was complete there were a couple of minor things we wanted done and these were completed to our satisfaction.
We love the way our house looks and would highly recommend JL Exteriors.
