Harley's Heating & Air Conditioning

Great. They are thorough, professional and knowledgeable. I got their service plan last year, $200 total for AC check in the spring and furnace check in the fall. If something breaks they don't charge the service call to come out and fix it.

Everything went well and everyone from Harley's including the people I talked to on the phone and the young man doing the work were very pleasant and helpful.

The service went great I work at home and was able to see the gentleman cleaning there was a lot to clean it having never been serviced

We are very happy with the installation and service calls since then.

Response was timely.  Inspection and diagnosis of problem was efficient with a clear and open explanation of the problem with the heat exchanger on the furnace.  When discussing alternatives for replacement there was no hard sell and in fact a smaller and less expensive unit than what was originally installed (20 years ago) was recommended.  It has functioned well during our cold winter.

The duct work cleaning was done on a separate trip and was done with minimum disruption to our daily routine.  That was important since I work from home and I am frequently on the phone.

Excellent company to work with.  Provided lots of information on initial phone call and when I called back to schedule an appointment, he was able to come a few hours later.  Work was performed quickly and efficiently and instructions clearly given.

System has worked very well and house is noticeably more comfortable.  Would definitely recommend to anyone!

In a word.... fantastic.
We are very pleased with Harley's professional installation staff and the Carrier product line has us living comfortably.
They showed up on time (to the minute) and removed and replaced the furnace and heat pump in one, hot July day. Meaning we weren't without air conditioning for more than a few hours.
Everything is installed very neatly and orderly. They cleaned up any random packing or installation parts/material.

Rick's bid was about the same as one other we had gotten and he had actually bid on this job several years ago but we choose to repair the unit at that time. We choose Harley's due to Rick's clear and concise explanation of several options, willingness to take the time to answer all of our questions, no "hard sale" tactics and obvious knowledge of the system. We read extensively on the equipment Rick had recommended and found it was rated very highly by Consumer Reports and other such entities. We choose an upgraded system over our previous. He was also willing to replace the old water heater at the same time for the cost of the unit only. He researched incentive plans from the manufacturer, the electric company and tax credits saving us a considerable amount. He scheduled the installation as soon as the new equipment was available and when our old unit quit working several days before in the middle of a very cold snap he sent someone out immediately to get it running till the new installation was completed and at no additional cost! They vacuumed out the vents one day and removed the old unit and installed the new one the next along with the water heater. Rick showed up early to supervise and make sure the work area was clean, covered the carpets, swept the walks etc. 
The final cost was exactly as estimated, he completed the incentive forms and later brought us the tax credits forms and documents needed to complete everything. 
Rick and his crew were a delight to work with, were extremely efficient in getting the job completed and went above and beyond in replacing the water heater and mending the old unit till the new was installed a couple days later. We feel very confident that should any problems arise down the road Rick will take care of it promptly. Everything is working seamlessly at this time. We would most assuredly use him again and recommend Harley's highly to our friends and neighbors.

They did a great job, he was pretty good. They were very professional.

I purchase an annual thing from them and I had to pay for the filter. They come out twice a year. We purchased a new air conditioner from the several years ago. The air conditioner has always worked fine and I have never had any problems with it. It's an air conditioner slash heat pump. It is the one they recommended we replace it with. They always call me when it is time for my six month service and schedule a time to come out. They're pretty prompt. They know what they are doing. They are friendly and I have never had any problems with them. I will continue to use them.

Rick stopped by as promised at 8:30 and found the condenser iced up, so he thawed that out, recharged the system and checked it over for leaks.  He also thoroughly hosed out the outside compressor unit's cooling fins.

Finding no leaks, he explained that it could still have one that was just too small to easily detect.  He suggested that it would probably be fine for the summer, but that once the summer cooling season was over, he could come back in the Fall to tear it down more completely and find the leak.  My house is wonderfully cool again.

Harley's installed this system originally, and have always been responsive and cost-competitive.  They exude a family-run atmosphere, they do quality work and they always try to find the best solution for the customer---for example, willingly repairing systems that other contractors have said needed replacement.  I highly recommend them.

The work began promptly and was finished in record time! The house is very small and space was limited but they made it all work!
