Did not return my phone call

He was a really good piano tuner. He was excellent. He was a very nice man. I've recommended him to other people. He was outrageously cheap so I gave him a huge tip. He was ridiculously reasonable. I had a professional piano player come in a week later for a party and she said it was in fabulous condition. It is a 25-year-old piano but it's a good piano. He was very good and very pleasant. He came within a few days so he was very responsive and he was on time. He was very professional. I would most definitely use him again.

On time. evan during the snow storm. went right to work. was up front on price from the start. very polite. We rescedueled with him.

This guy is wonderful. I know alot of companies get an "A" rating, but he really is great at what he does. He came and thoroughly checked my piano for me (as I don't play) so that I could sell it at a fair price. He is such a nice man, so knowledgeable, a real gem!

Called him this afternoon and he said he could come out right now. He showed up within the hour...amazing! Did a great job of tuning the piano and was very pleasant. His price was very fair. Looking for a piano tuner? This is the guy to call.

Gary arrived promptly - in fact was a bit early. Explained what he would be doing and welcomed questions and concerns. He made suggestions as to what I could do to maximize the performance of the piano. Spent about 1 1/2 hours tuning the piano. When it was finished, the piano sounded warmer, more mellow. Outstanding sound - altho I think Gary's talent as a performer helped!

Gary came within a day, and was on time, pleasant, and professional. He spent a lot of time and used some creative fixes to repair our "practice pedal" (which dulls the sound when your grandchildren are fooling around on the piano), and warned me that the problem was likely to recur. I graded "Quality" as "N/A" because I'm not the piano player and am not expert enough to judge, but it sounded good to me and I'm confident that it is fine!

Called Gary and he got back to me right away with a date within the following week. He arrived a few minutes early. He wasn't phased by the very curious toddler or two cats. He also was able to quickly retrieve the two quarters that had been slipped between two piano keys. After playing a quick version Sesame Street's theme song, he got straight to tuning. It took him about an hour and the piano sounds and feels great.

We had a miscommunication over the appointment date, but Mr. O'Brian was able to come within the hour promised. He spent 1.5-2 hrs tuning it. He was very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Glad to have found him through Angie's List.

He did an excellent job, I am very pleased with the work he did. I was very impressed with the quality and the care he took with my piano. I would certainly use him in the future.

Gary arrived on time. He had all the tools he needed to perform the job. He was polite, very presentable, very nice to interact with, and his ear for tuning is wonderful. He left the job site as clean as when he arrived. We couldn't ask for a better job. His 30+ years of experience definitely shows.

The price that I paid Gary was a real good deal and did compare it with others. My experience was great and he was super friendly. He even went beyond his call of duty, as for some reason the piano was like locked up. So, he figured out as to how to open it without any extra charge. He did a great job and I have no complains at all. I would definitely use his services in the future as well.

I think he was a friendly guy, willing to reschedule when I needed to and had a very reasonable price.

Though he was a little late in arriving for the job (he had a good reason), Gary apologized again and again and offered to take $10 off the already low price of $60. Throughout the tuning, he was professional and exceptionally pleasant. When I wondered allowed how old my piano was, he called a friend with the serial number and gave me the year my piano was born. He tunes the old fashioned way, with a pitch fork and a practiced ear. The result is fantastic.

My music class piano hadn't been tuned for at least 3 years. I called Gary and asked if he would come and tune it for me (many people refuse to tune pianos in schools do to the slower process of purchase orders). He said he absolutely would and then offered to come the very next day! In the past I have had to wait 3 weeks for other tuners to schedule an appointment for me. I was amazed that he could come so quickly. I scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. Gary arrived exactly on time. He did a great job of tuning the piano and he fixed a key that had been stuck for years. I could see that he truly does enjoy his work and finds joy in making pianos playable at an affordable price. He took great care and didn't want to leave until the piano was just right. When he had finished (approx. 1.5 hours later) I told Gary about my personal piano at my home and asked if he had any knowledge of tuning an old fashioned player piano. He said that he could do it and came over to my house that very same day. Player pianos are much more difficult to tune and he was able to bring mine back to life for only $80. Based on my other estimates, I couldn't believe his low prices. I will absolutely use Gary in the future to tune all of my pianos. He was kind, efficient, knowledgable and honest.

Fabulous. Called in morning, came that afternoon. (Although he said that's not usual.) Very nice and pleasant to speak with. Did a wonderful job and charged 1/3 of what's listed on other tuners on the list.

I called Mr. O'Brien for an appointment and I was able to get an appointment promptly. He adjusted the strings and tuned the piano. He also explained what he was doing. My piano had not been tuned for 10 years or more, and it took an hour and a half.

I called Mr. O'Brian and he was at my house 2 days later. He was punctual, professional and very nice. He was at my house 1 hour and fixed my piano perfectly. I had other tuners out to fix my piano and no one was able to until Mr. O'Brian. I will always call on him for all my piano needs-he is the utmost professional.

Mr. O'Brian returned my call within about 30 min. and scheduled an appointment for the same day. He arrived on time and carefully and meticulously tuned our piano. He was polite, friendly, answered all our questions and made our piano sound great. His piano playing is also great! We will definitely call him again.

Mr. O'Brian was called to tune my piano. He called me back and came within a short time. I asked if he cleaned pianos and he said, yes. He proceeded to tune and clean my piano thoroughly after taking it completely apart. He was very polite and extremely knowledgeable about music and pianos. My piano has NEVER looked so good! After right at 3 hours, I asked how much I owed him and he replied that the tuning was $60 and I could give him whatever I felt was reasonable for the cleaning. I gave him $100, but feel I shorted him after all his hard work and the great results. He even was able to fix a 'rattle' and other tuners told me they couldn't fix. He also gave me a web site to contact to obtain more information about my piano, ie. how old it was, etc. He was a most delightful man and by the end of the visit I felt as if I had a friend. I can't wait to have him 'play' for a private party for us. He is an incredible musician!

Gary was quick to answer the phone when I called first thing in the morning and was able to tune my piano that very same day. When he got hung up on the job, he immediately called to let me know that he would have to delay the service call from the originally agreed upon time. He had the piano completely tuned within 90 minutes of arriving. The entire time he was very professional, courteous, and did an outstanding job. I will certainly utilize him every time my piano needs tuning from now on.

Gary arrived on time and quickly got to work on the piano. The piano (as we knew) was nearly a full step flat. Because it had been years since the piano was tuned he had some concern that bringing the strings all the way in tune could lead to some problems, so he tuned the piano as far as he was comfortable (to about 40% flat) and will be coming back in about 6 months to finish tuning. Because he wasn't able to complete the job that day, he knocked $10 off the quoted price.

Had an opening so came the same afternoon that I called. Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional. I am very very satisfied and plan to continue to use this service!

Mr. O'Brian arrived on time and worked above and beyond the call of duty to tune the piano. He patiently explained what he was doing and why.
