I prefer to use independent contractors, but was told by several contractors that I would need to use Epp Foundation for this job. I should have brought someone in from out of town. Unbeknownst to me, a salesman (not someone who does the work) came out to make the bid. It ended up being a situation where he didn't know what needed to be done. To make a long story short, using Epp is like taking your vehicle to a salesman to find out what needs repaired instead of to a mechanic. This cost me both time and money. The crew was great but the salesman dropped the ball and his boss backed him instead of providing customer support. Epp repaired some concrete outside the building, but I used an independent contractor to repair the inside and saved 50% on the cost of the repair. Seek out another company even if it means bringing someone in from out of town.

I have had the worst experience with EPP and feel like I was scammed out of 20 grand. 1) they pushed back the initial date of work the week of. This didn't initially bother me, but in hindsight speaks to the unreliability of this company. 2) after the work was done I expressed concerns with some spots of work that were not up to par. They responded that I needed to pay my bill before they looked at it and once I paid my bill they ignored me for over 6 months! I called at least once a month, never got an answer, left a voicemail, and was never contacted. I emailed my initial account manager and he once said he would reach out to someone and then didn't respond to my subsequent emails. 3) after finally getting in contact with them, no progress was made until 3 months later when my basement flooded after all the work. This finally got them to come out and fix the problem. 4) when fixing the problem, they just completed destroyed my door (pictures attached) and didn't say anything to me. You can see footprints all over it from them clearly not caring about my stuff at all and the doorknob is completely ripped out. This was a custom door I installed after their first initial work and they clearly could care less about respecting my property. I contacted them about this 3 weeks ago and have yet to get any sort of remedy. 5) the work itself is absolute garbage. (Pictures attached) The "waterproofing wall" just looks like garbage bags duct taped to my wall, I feel like I lost value in my home installing this. My entire basement is bordered in broken plastic sticking out of the ground. Looks nothing like what they advertise on their website. 6) during the initial install they did not plug in my sump pump. A week later they came back because they had forgotten something and then noticed it wasn't plugged in. Flash forward 9 months when my basement flooded again it turns out it wasn't even plugged in correctly the entire time. If you are looking into waterproofing your basement, do not use Epp! Go with a more credible company. Do not let the promise of a warranty or low prices fool you, you will only end up with s***** work!

Worked with Brenton to get a quote and recommendations to address the shearing of the foundation in my basement. After getting another quote from a different company, Epp seemed like the most logical option. Everyone at Epp was efficient and top notch to work with. The day of installation, Dakota and his team came in ON TIME(prior to scheduled appointment), and finished within the timeframe given (technically before), Dakota was careful to lay down a work cloth to not dirty the carpets. He explained how to proceed after the carbon fiber straps were installed. Comes with a lifetime warranty! Highly recommend Epp Foundation repair!

Was told I would need to have interior drain-tile system installed. This did not solve my problem at all as I still have efflorescence on my walls plus put up with a messed up basement and holes cut in the ceiling drywall to reinstall steel beams. The only satisfaction they could give me was an I'm sorry. I should have been told ahead of time they had no solution before wasting my money and time.

Had multiple leaks in basement walls after we moved in. Epp initially blamed problem on interior drain tile and was not their issue. Homeowner investigated with someone else help and found 6 different holes is basement walls from bad contrite poor and waterproofed not working. Disappointed Epp did not take immediate responsibility for leaks. Not happy with how I was treated.
