My experience with Dryhero was very positive. Rich seems extremely knowledgeable and competent in this field of water damage cleanup. The process was prompt, professional and simple. I appreciate that!

The phone response and scheduling were fast. The technician was courteous and hard-working, very professional. He worked efficiently and prepped carpet heavy soil spots for better machine cleaning. He used protective equipment and stayed on site to eat his lunch managing his time on the job. We are VERY happy.

Dryhero was very prompt in returning all calls and texts. Made appointment for estimate quickly after the first phone call. Did what they said they would do and did an excellent job.

Absolutely loved this company! I have worked with many contractors and Dryhero did a fantastic job in every aspect of the project. The mold testing was helpful, the remediation was immaculate and the reconstruction of the basement was quality. What I liked about Ritch and his company is that I had complete trust and faith in his word. They literally started the project on a handshake (no contract) and we didn't have to pay until the project was complete. What company, these days, will do a $10,000 project without asking for money up front? This is the way business used to be but hard to find today.

I called Ritch two days after the event, and he agreed to come first thing the next morning and check things out. In the meantime, I had had fans and a dehumidifier going in the affected area, and I had sopped up as much water as I could in towels, wrung them out, and laid them down again (and repeated that cycle a few times). I was extremely sore and stiff the next day, heh. Ritch showed up bright and early the next morning, as promised, and brought a tool case with him. He used some type of thermometer or other gauge that he could poke through the carpet into the pad to check for moisture. He checked it all over the place in various locations where it had been wet. He checked my drywall in multiple locations, as well. At one point, he switched to a different sensor device for the drywall. He told me the carpet was dry pretty much everywhere, as was the pad underneath. I had been fortunate enough to get it all up without leaving any measurable moisture in the pad. During our call the previous day, Ritch had figured he'd need to lift a corner of the carpet and blow an industrial fan over the pad to get it dry, but upon checking everything, he said it wasn't necessary; there wasn't anything left to dry in the carpet. He checked interior and exterior walls for moisture, as I mentioned, and identified one section of an external wall, in particular, where the water had soaked up into the drywall. The wall wasn't visibly wet, but he could detect the water with his device, and the baseboard had sort of cupped or become concave, which caused it to pull away from the wall along the top, leaving a gap. Ritch said he could rent me a big fan to blow on that for several days and that would dry it out, but he said the fans I already had going were probably adequate - they'd just take a little longer to finish the job. He told me that when the baseboard dried, it would straighten out and be closer to the wall again, closing the visible gap. I asked him if I should rent a fan from him anyway just to be safe, and he said, "If you were my brother, I would tell you not to spend the money". He said I should definitely respect the need to dry that one wall but I had everything I needed, and I didn't need to rent any equipment from him. I asked if I could pay him for coming out and inspecting everything, and he said no, we don't charge for inspections. Ritch was very cool about this, and very helpful. I'd made it clear when I called that I needed an expert so this wouldn't come back to bite me in the future, and he came out and spent 15-20 minutes in my home checking everything. He reassured me that I didn't need any other services from him, told me how I could solve the sole remaining issue on my own, and refused to take any payment for his time and trouble. I greatly appreciated Ritch's help, and I would highly recommend contacting him if you need these types of services in the future.

Ritch was a lifesaver to be honest. It was a very trying time as my husband was in the hospital at the time and Ritch and his staff took care of everything for me. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They explained what needed to happen in detail and took the time and effort to save what they could. I would highly recommend this company.

We noticed water damage and mold on the ceiling of our garage last week and contacted DryHero to come out and take a look.  The reviews were so good for this company that we had also planned on them doing any necessary repair work.  Responsiveness was excellent especially compared to other contractors we have dealt with.  Ritch Paprocki the owner came out and took a look at our attic to see what was going on.  He gave a detailed analysis of what was going and where he believed the source of the leak to be.  He also gave some tips as to how this damage could be filed as a claim to the insurance company.  The problem turned out not to be as severe/complex as we thought.  He recommended we contact our roofer since we recently had the roof replaced and the leak was most likely coming from one of the dormer windows on the house.  We wanted to pay him something for at least coming out and doing the full analysis but he would not charge us anything.   I would definitely use this company again (though I hope I never need to do so), and would definitely recommend them to others.

This guy is a Super Hero. Don't ever consider any other company. We have needed to call him twice because of a pipe breaking in our basement, and each time we can't believe the SUPERIOR Service he gives. The first time Ritch came, three years ago, was from a recommendation from our son. They had him come for a mold problem, and had highly praised his work. Ritch gave us great advice for our leaky pipe damage, and helped us navigate through the clean-up and insurance world. This time we called him, because right before we were sitting down to a family dinner on Easter Saturday evening, we found our basement ceiling had filled with water and was drenching the carpet in our basement. Ritch was at our home almost immediately, and worked hard tearing out our ceiling, and sucking the water out of the saturated carpet, while we ate. All along we knew he would take care of our basement issues with the same care or better than he would do his own home. We advise anyone facing water damage, mold, or any issues of the type to call only Dry Hero. We have had another company come, and there is no comparison to the caring and quality that Ritch gives his customers. He is always prompt on time when he comes, and after he is done with his work, he leaves the area in the best condition it can be. Their name it so fitting for the company. They really are Hero's!!!!!!!

Excellent! Ritch (Dryhero) was recommended to us and I can see why. From the initial phone call to the completion of the work he was professional, friendly, punctual and most importantly you could tell he knew his business. At the end of a very long and frustrating home buing process it was such a joy to work with someone local who really knew their job and cared about customer service. I cannot say enough positive things about this company.

We were out of town when our basement flooded, and since it was outside ground water instead of clean water, the entire house smelled horrible when we discovered it. They removed the water and completely dried our basement in just five days. At the end of five days, the odor was completely gone...even before cleaning the carpets.
The damage was not covered by insurance and Dryhero saved us literally thousands of dollars by saving our carpet, pad drywall, base trim and built-in cabinets. They did have to remove about 12 feet of drywall and wet insulation under the window. Other than that they really made it go away and we are amazed that they were able to do that.

Our experience with Dryhero couldn't have been a better one! It started off with the owner, Ritch, being nice enough to wait 30+ minutes to talk to us after our home inspector ran over his appointment. After kindly waiting, Ritch spent some time giving us some great information and really helping us understand mold and helped ease our fears about the price and success of the process. He gave us an estimate on site, which we felt was a very reasonable price. He fit us in as soon as he was able, and did a phenomenal job during his time there. Any time we had questions he would spend plenty of time explaining things and giving us helpful tips on things such as what to buy for carpet and pad next time to help prevent mold or what air filters would help prevent mold growth. The whole process took about a week, as the basement needed time to air out to remove all the mold and filter the air. Ritch was very accomodating to our schedule and even left early one night because he didn't want smelly fumes from paint on the studs while we were working on other parts of the house. He also made sure to salvage anything that he was able, including door handles, closet shelves, etc. He left a clean work site, hauling away all the carpet, drywall, doors, etc. without even cut pieces of carpet found on the ground. He also tried to make clean cuts at incremental heights on the drywall he removed to make it easier when applying new drywall. After all was said and done he did a final mold test on the basement and sent us the results, which helped prove that the air was again back to a normal level of quality.

We had to call Ritch for a separate water issue in another part of the house a couple of weeks later, and he came over that morning to inspect the damage. He called me back with a simple solution to fix it and to let me know that there was no mold damage and that it would be easy enough I could take care of it if I wanted. He charged me nothing for his time!

We highly recommend checking with Ritch for your water damage or mold issues. It felt like a close friend was helping us, someone you could trust and who you knew was looking out for your best!
