For quite a few months, my iMac emitted loud clunking and rattling noises after I'd used it for almost an hour. Turns out, the internal fans needed to be replaced ASAP or my computer would overheat and inevitably crash. When I took my computer to them on Monday, 1/19/2015, they gave me the necessary information about the procedure involved to fix it, and the estimated amount of time they'd be finished. Since I just found out I have Apple Care (it lasts for 3 years), I didn't have to pay a dime! After I brought my iMac home from the Computer Hardware place, I started it up. Usually, the apps I'd frequently have running are the following: MS Word 2011, Firefox, and Photoshop CS6. However, not even ninety minutes passed by before I noticed that the upper portion on the back of my computer was unbelievably hot to touch. Navigating within each apps was sluggish. Otherwise, the lower section of my iMac was cool and seemed to be fine. I am pleased there aren't any incessant fan noises. But, I'll return my iMac to be looked at to make sure everything's working as it should. I'll give you all an update on how the second visit went. No matter if something else is wrong with my Apple computer (after all, I have the worst luck with electronics) I'd highly recommend Computer Hardware, Inc.

I was helped immediately by a friendly very knowledgeable technical expert. On my main MacBook, he found two small cracks on back of the case and other issues. He suggested sending it to Apple, because they often fix things at no cost. I didn't know about this option and, if he hadn't told me, I could have spent a lot of money at their shop. As it was, that computer was sent out with a 3 - 5 day expected turn around.
Two days later, I got a call that my computer was back. Apple replaced the LCD (screen), the logic board, the keyboard, the entire case, and all the housings....AT NO COST! Computer Hardware and Apple saved me a fortune!
Computer Hardware did a diagnostic on my backup computer, but there were more problems than I was willing to fix, so I simply paid the $80 diagnostic fee. It was well worth the money.
Computer Hardware put the customer first...well ahead of their own bottom line. I would use them again in a heartbeat and will probably buy my next Mac from them, even if I'm living in another state. They're that good!
Apple also deserves serious kudos. They certainly stand behind their products. I've had Macs since 1987 and have never had a problem. Now I understand a little more about why there have been no issues.
